O'Shea's Hotel

Had a fantastic 5 nights in O'Sheas. As a solo traveller I greatly appreciate the friendliness and personal touch of all the staff, from reception to the restaurant and everything in between the staff can't do enough for you. The food is great and the location is second to none, I could hear the surf break from my room when the tide was in which was bliss. Can't wait to go back, highly recommend.

We dropped into O sheas for a few drinks and said we'd get some dinner while we were there. My sister in law went up to the carvery to be told there was no potatoes for a few minutes so we said OK we'd wait. After a few minutes we went up to get some dinner we noticed the mashed potatoes looked like glue, sticky and wet. I opted for the jacket potatoes and thank god I did. None of my family could eat them. They said it was like glue that would stick to the roof. Flavourless and tasteless. We did complain but they just say sorry... I thought very bad form to the chef who thought it was OK to send out rubbish food like that and think no one would say anything. Not a place I would recommend.

This is our second year visiting for the Waterford Scooter Club Rally. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Food was top notch,godd variety on menu, breakfast is fantastic, and the Guinness goes down very well. Looking forward to our return

My self and my family decided to have such and dinner there. My wife, sister and myself had the all sat breakfast, which consisted of 2 hot on the outside sausages,very fatty bacon and an overdone egg. My daughter had lasagne which had beef and chicken pieces in it. My son had chicken and ham carvery which he said the chicken was greasy and the ham tasted a bit sour. My wife complained about the cold sausages, The waitress got us a second portion fir each who had the breakfast. Before O'Sheas was sold it was the only place to have a well prepared carvery and anytime we have stayed here we always enjoyed great food here. I would not recommend this venue for food to anyone.I hope that the new owners take note that they have to seriously improve their catering or they will suffer loss of custom.

Lovely clean welcoming hotel.Staff exceptional and the food ! We had both dinner and breakfast here all delicious and very attentive servers.Room was well laid out nice and warm and clean. On site parking a plus we enjoyed our stay very much

Noreen such a gem 💎 to the place such a lovely woman stayed here for many years Tony at reception is so nice and helpful the girls for food is lovely rooms are lovely bar staff are lovely especially Steve would recommend 1 million % from the peach snap crew 😃😃
