Una experiencia mágica. El alojamiento muy bien y las excursiones con ellos geniales. Nos dieron mucha información sobre todos los animales y se esmeraron mucho para que viéramos los máximos posibles. Se nota que les gusta su trabajo. Todos muy amables. Seguro que volvemos.

We stayed 3 nights. It's a typical hostel in the village. Its location right in the village makes it very convenient to get the most of the area. There is no luxury but the canal front view is fantastic and you got to experience the village vibe which I think people residing in Lodges are missing. We took advantage of a 3-tours package that was offered. Hector was our guide for all tours. We were fortunate enough to have Hector for ourselves which made the experience even better. He is knowledgeable and generous of his time. We did the night tour, the day walk and the canoe tour. We saw all of the interesting animals (monkeys, birds, sloths, caymans, etc).

Beautifully clean and comfortable accommodation and very friendly hosts. It was really easy to arrange tours directly and our first full day was brilliant. We did a morning tour on the river and canals in a silent electric canoe, picked up from the property which was really convenient. We then did an afternoon walking tour of the national park and a night time walk in the jungle. All 3 tours were absolutely fantastic with brilliant guides. This place is a gem! Tortuguero is beautiful. So much wildlife and a beach town with such friendly locals and a really safe and chill vibe. After 3 weeks in Costa Rica and 5+ accommodations this was our favourite!!

+ Very good located in Tortuguero + Tours can be booked directly at the guest house as it's also a tour agency + when booking a stay in the guesthouse you get a discount on the tours + stuff ist very gentle and helps you with any issue + rooms are clean and have an AC - The shower is "special", it's a flow-type heater integrated in the shower head. There was not enough pressure behind and we always set the whole bathroom under water when showering. That was a bit annoying.

We had a wonderful stay at Tortuguero Adventures. Our room had a balcony and a panoramic view of the main canal. Carmen at the front desk was charming and helpful on many things including restaurant recommendations and Brian led us on an outstanding morning wildlife tour. Both speak excellent English. It made things a lot easier to have lodging and tours run by the same outfit. We also took their kayaks out in the late afternoon for just a small upcharge.

Tortuguero is an amazing eksperience and at Tortuguero adventure guesthouse you wake up with a view which is absolutely stunning. The guesthouse only has two rooms sharing a huge balcony overlooking the river. The staff is extremely friendly, helpfull and knowledgeable. They like their jobs and want you to have the best experience possible. Ask for instance Carmen in the reception for places to eat and she will have great recomandations for you. The tourguide Bryan is very good at his job and you will get your moneys worth wether its a boat trip at the rivers in the daytime or a night trip in the jungle. The guesthouse is rustic but we highly recomend it.

Great location a very short, c. 100m from the boat stop, to the accommodation. 2 rooms, each with fantastic river views & managed by Emanuel at front of house, who also arranged tours with the excellent Calima. Getting here was a breeze, once you park up at La Povoda & hop into the public boat. No need to pay more for a private boat. No breakfast available, although our room had a fridge & balcony with tables & chairs. A decent bakery or lots of reasonably priced, albeit rustic, restaurants very close by. Only downside is that’s it’s 3 house away from the noisiest bar in the village which finished at 3:30 on a Saturday night.

Wir waren drei Tage vor Ort. Das sollte man auch sein damit man die wichtigsten Touren mitmachen kann. Diese kann man direkt unten im Hause buchen. Emanuel berät einen gut & gerne, ein sehr sympathischer Typ. Das Haus betreibt 3 Zimmer mit wahnsinns Terrassen Aussicht mit Blick auf Tortuguero National Park. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt vorne an der Lagune. Somit kann man nicht nur direkt zu den Touren aufbrechen, man sieht auch alle Boote die nach/ von La Pavone kommen. Unser Tour Guide Jordan war unser großes Glück. Ein wahrer Naturliebhaber und Bootsfahrten. Wir hatten viele Führer, keiner war soo gut. Zusammen mit Fabien ein unschlagbares Team Muchas Gracias Amigos

Wij reizen nu bijna drie weken door Costa Rica en Tortuguero is toch wel het meest bijzondere plekje: De natuur, de dieren en de verblijfplaats. De staff was erg vriendelijk en en behulpzaam. Totaal verbleven wij drie nachten in het Tortuguero Guesthouse en bij aankomst hebben we direct een plan gemaakt welke excursies wij allemaal wilde doen. We hebben de schildpadexcursie gedaan, de kanotocht samen met gids Erik, de Night walk, vissen met een lokale visser en we hebben zelf kajaks gehuurd. De hotelkamer was netjes en ruim. Prachtig uitzicht op de zonsondergang vanaf het balkon en ''s ochtends kon je de brulapen horen brullen.
