Kingston House

I honestly don't know where to start but here we go, I booked kingston house after searching the Internet for a highly recommended b&b and I'm so glad I did. We have never been to Torquay before but we are glad we booked to stay at the kingston to explore it. Alli and Michael are wonderful hosts we were greeted on arrival, Michael asked if we needed help with anything and we got a lovely cream tea for booking direct. The room was spotless, a silent mini bar stocked with lots of varietys at reasonable prices. Lovely sized wardrobe and comfy big bed. Ensuite was great and stocked with everything you need, the hand wash is to die for I loved it that much I will be buying some for home. Michael is an amazing cook and breakfast every morning was spot on my plan was to try different things for the weekend but I loved the full English that much I had the same every morning. There is much to do around the area which is in walking distance definitely go to cockington it's a lovely walk there and back and a beautiful village and gardens. We went to a few restaurants that alli and Michael recommend and so glad we did they were all fantastic. Indi yang was the best in our eyes! Followed by the hole in the wall and amici. Overall a wonderful three day break and the hosts were that nice and welcoming we have booked to come back in a few months. Thank you for everything ❤️ see you soon.

Very good stay. We stayed 16 nights and did like everything about Kingston House. Very good room, excellent breakfast and the friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts made our visit special. We can highly recommend Kingston House for a stay in Torquay.

Alli and Michael went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. Their B&B is truly a class of it's own. Every little detail in the room and the house has been carefully designed to make you feel at home when travelling. When travelling to Torquay again this will definitely be our go-to location!

Wow simply wow. Alison and michael gave us the warmest welcome ever and are such a lovely couple with a clear eye for detail as the rooms are amazing. The guest room downstairs is awesome and has an honesty bar which we have never seen before but it's an amazing idea. The king size bed was so comfortable and the shower was lovely. Now for breakfast. Michael is truly an amazing chef and everything was cooked to perfection. The porridge was lovely and creamy and full English with the best scrambled egg I have tasted in a long time. All in all we would recomend this b and b to anyone and please don't be afraid to talk to Alison and michael as they truly are lovely people to chat with. We will be returning and would like to thank them for their hospitality So good I even proposed to my future wife here. Mike and kaz

We arrived at Kingston house for a 3 night break . Everything was perfect from the welcome tea and scones to the fantastic morning breakfast . Our room was spotless clean and Alison and Michael are wonderful hosts . If you visit Torquay you must stay here . Jess & Pete Bristol

The first time we had stayed at Kingston House, attractive house and very well furnished. Made most welcome and good knowledge on local restaurants and places to visit. Comfortable and well equipped room on the first floor Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice on the menu
