I have just gotten back from one of the loveliest places I've ever been, Torquay, what a beautiful place and the place we stayed in, Garway B&B in Torquay, it was an absolute outstanding place, the room the service and the food WOW Thank you , if I'm ever that end, I'll for sure be staying there again. You both made us feel so welcome.

My recent stay at Garway Lodge was superb. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. The breakfast choices were brilliant, catering to all requirements. Steve and Joseph made the stay a very pleasant one, being helpful and making us feel very welcome. Looking forward to a return visit.

The hosts are excellent and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms were beautifully appointed, clean and smelt gorgeous. Loved the diffusers so much we had to buy some! Breakfast was plentiful, with a great variety available. It's about a 10-15 min walk to the town and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Great stay! Well definitely be back :)

We spent 2 nights at Garway Lodge & it could not have gone better. Joseph and Steve the proprietors gave us a warm and friendly welcome. Our room had everything we could wish for, & more. The rooms are very tastefully decorated & furnished to a high standard, to give a homely feel. Our room had a huge comfortable bed, very nice shower room en-suite, wardrobe and storage space. Everything is provided. Garway Lodge has a comfortable sitting room for guests to use, with smart tv, books. games, and self service bar for that nightcap in the evening. Breakfast provides cereals, fresh fruit, pastries, fruit juice, smoothies and of course plenty of toast, tea and coffee. Joseph cooks a full English that is simply outstanding. Vegetarian and vegan options are available plus other cooked options on the breakfast menu. Will we come back? Absolutely we will!

Such welcoming hosts, I used Garway as a weekly stopover when visiting a needy relative; I had a really comfortable, clean room which had been thoughtfully designed .The breakfasts were very tasty, with lots of choice ,catering for every dietary need. After experiencing other comparably priced venues, this was streets ahead !

My stay was a truly excellent experience. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was absolutely first class. My single room had everything you'd need, breakfasts were a delight, great coffee, great choices. What a fantastic way to start your day. I recommend Garway - everybody needs an experience like this from time to time and Garway is the right choice.

Well what can I say absolutely brilliant hosts, Steve, Joseph and of course Mr Bear. Their attention to detail is unbelievable, they have literally thought of everything. They can't do enough for you and you can tell it's genuine. Me and my friend went round the room amazed at all the little things that they have in each room. Not just towels but bath robes,quality ones too. There's loads of room for storage including a fridge with milk and bottled water. I have already booked to come back next year with my mum for her 70th birthday. Oh and they feed you cake lots of cake. I honestly can't recommend this place enough. Thank you guys for making our stay feel so special. You definitely spoilt us. See you next year xx

We stayed here for 5 nights and never been anywhere we have felt so welcome, the room was fantastic along with Steven & Joseph making it feel like a real home from home. They went above and beyond to accommodate us with freshly baked cakes every day and a fantastic breakfast, we would highly recommend this place as you will never find a place like this anywhere. I forgot to mention there was lots of sweets in our room as well as a bottle of wine in the fridge and they also have a lovely lounge with an honesty bar to relax of an evening, if they didn’t have a drink there you liked then went and got it for you. The fact they had an EV charger for me was an added bonus. I would give 10 stars if I could thank you both. PS. The Babbacombe inn has great food.

All the positive comments made previously are not over hyped, this B & B is exceptional. The attention to detail is second to none and all the little 'extras' make the Garway 'simply the best'. Steve and Joe are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. A big positive is that it is only about five minutes from Torre railway station and about the same from a regular bus service that can take you into the town centre, Paignton and Brixham.
