Premier Inn Torquay Seafront

Great location for beach & town centre. Had large room at front of hotel with two windows (that opened) overlooking the seafront. Just perfect! Paid for the breakfast 3 morning & this set us up perfectly for the day. Bus stop literally just down the road to access Paignton & Brixham & easy 10 minute walk along the seafront into the centre. 3 nights car park cost £10.50 - bargain!! Can’t complain about anything!!

We stayed end of October. The location of the hotel is excellent, on the seafront with easy access and parking. Our room was spacious comfortable and clean. Overall very good for a budget hotel. HOWEVER avoid the grubby bar and suggest you also avoid the Beefeater restaurant and eat elsewhere as there are better places nearby.

The setting is ideal for a long or short stay plenty of parking unfortunately this is not free .The food in the restaurant is very good the staff are friendly and helpful,the rooms are cleaned on request. The hotel is having some works carried on the outside but did have any impact on our stay

We normally stay at a local B&B, but they’ve closed for the season. So Premier Inn it was for the night. I was a bit disappointed with this one. In our family room, we arrived to find the single bed not made up, so had to ask Reception to sort. Only two towels in the room for three people as well. The room wasn’t particularly clean, but ok for a night. The carpet felt grubby, the window was dirty and there was a smear of something on the wall by the door… A few maintenance issues as well, such as wonky wall lamps. At least the beds were comfy, that is something Premier Inn excels in. The Beefeater bar downstairs had dirty tables. Broken glass and half-drunk drinks and litter in the beer garden. It wouldn’t take much for someone to go about wiping tables and collecting glasses/litter/sweeping up. Breakfast was nice, great selection of food, but again dirty tables and the chairs need replacing as the seat pads were filthy. A good tidy up needed at this hotel. You can’t beat its location in Torquay, right by the swirly footbridge.

This was our third time at the Premier Inn Torquay - and again didn’t disappoint. Lovely room, everything we needed and more. Staff friendly and helpful. We had the meal deal - breakfast and evening meal - food was good and breakfast plentiful. Choice of evening meal, again good, small surcharge for some menu items but not a lot. We had a lovely, relaxing stay - plenty to see and do around and about. Easy access for a stroll on the sea front. ,

Good Location, lots of buses to go out and about to explore, Hotel itself could do with a lick of paint .

Great location - exterior could probably do with a bit of a revamp but overall a lovely stay. Staff friendly, approachable and very helpful. The only one issue we had was that the TV had interference from some sort of machinery outside the room - every time the whining sound started from somewhere it interfered with the TV reception but it was definitely not a big problem for us as we were not in the room much. Apart from that everything else was lovely. Room, staff, service & location all great. Will definitely return again!

We stayed for 3 nights. Rooms were good, overlooking the seafront, which was great. Very comfortable rooms. The air conditioning didn't work the second and third nights, but we asked for and were given a fan so that was fine. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially Helen on reception and Rebecca in the restaurant. There was also another lovely lady looking after us at breakfast each day but I didn't get her name.
