AN EXTREMELY BAD EXPERIENCE, CUSTOMER SERVICE HORRIBLE
On arrival I could not check-in because reception staff told me I had not pre paid. I showed proof of my Trip.com booking payment and my bank statement but staff wanted me to send copies to senior hotel staff directly to prove payment.
I objected, an argument ensued, waiting customers witnessed were embarrassed.
I paid cash and waited the entire day before staff agreed payment had been made and I was refunded BUT NO APOLOGIES.
NO BREAKFAST.
Premier Inn had been having website issues admitted by reservation staff. I booked 2 days but only 1 day could I book breakfast. The site would not permit reserving breakfast. Hotel staff offered that I pay extra for breakfast but my second night room booking was already more expensive than the first night which included breakfast.
By this time I was so pissed off that we checked out without breakfast.
THE WIFI DID NOT WORK.
Neither mine or my wife phone could receive Wifi. I emailed the internet provider for the hotel and eventually received service. Reception staff tried for more than an hour and could not fix the problem.
THE HOTEL IS OLD AND DECOR DOWDY.
The entire decor of the hotel is old looking and desperately needs a remodel and modern colour scheme upgrade. Carpets, artificial wood floors and window coverings have the appearance of being very old.

My partner booked this as a spur of the moment night away with our infant son. Greeted by a helpful friendly gentleman (unsure of name, short ginger hair). On arrival we were told the lift wasn't working which was a pain as we had a pushchair plus his travel cot, and bags etc. Luckily it was first floor. The room was a decent size, double bed, single and a travel cot- but we used our own as its bigger. Double bed was very uncomfortable..seemed to dip. Tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer. However it was tired looking. Sheets were marked, but no doubt clean all the same. There was a thick trail of dust under the tv panelling on the wall. Our son who is crawling picked this up and ate it. So quite annoyed, it hadn't been hoovered in quite some time. Soap dispenser was grimly lined with soap scum, had a partial sea view but ruined by rubbish on flat roof. We used the restaurant, food and drinks were really tasty and good value for money. Friendly staff. General areas were clean. £7 for parking on site. Given the area I thought was fair. Wouldn't stay there again but would definitely use the restaurant.

Bed on arrival was not made properly and looked messy - although was comfortable. Decor was shabby in most corners and low down by floor - Room, bathroom and restaurant. Expected more from a Premier Plus room but ....... No cushions, no draws, minimal hanging space, vanity mirror in wrong place and shelf too small. Although a spacious room the furniture was quite minimal. Food was good but not for vegetarians unless you like spicy, cheesy!

We were seen in reception by a stoney faced, unfriendly receptionist after a five hour drive. Told you can’t check in for half an hour unless we pay £15, we paid. The bar staff so friendly as was the lady at breakfast, the cleaners were very nice,first impressions not excellent in the customer service department , be more welcoming and friendly

The location of this hotel is great. We had a brilliant sea view with a large bedroom with both a shower and bath. The beefeater attached to this hotel was great. The breakfasts were of great quality and the breakfast service was amazing. The evening meals and menu was full of options and the food was of great quality the staff were very attentive. Especially Daisy ad Lex who were great all week. The carpark was also good. Even though it cost each night. There were plenty of spaces and at no time did we not get a place.

The hotel is really shabby and gone way downhill. Too few staff with dour expressions. Dark and dingy reception more interested in getting you sign up for extras. Beefeater in house with sticky tables and loud obnoxious music that makes it uncomfortable to relax. Breakfast - just about ok. Some decent bread would be preferable to sliced loaf. Will avoid in the future.

e had the best time , we have had to move in to the premier inn while we have some work done so it has been very stressful but we knew we could rely on the premier inn to provide everything I need as a wheelchair user your reception staff are amazing they make you feel like they are welcoming you into there home Megan J has been amazing she went above and beyond we have been here for a while and she has always accommodated us the best she could and all your other staff has been amazing. Thank you

Really good location for the beach, harbour, shops, restaurants etc. breakfast served separately for me as I have coeliac disease. GF toaster and bread is separate and you help yourself. Staff really friendly. Very good. I will Definitely return here. 🤩

5 star service from the 2 lovely receptionist today. Took time to have a nice conversation with us, reccomended us places to go to eat during our stay. Friendly smile. Room was clean. Look forward to staying with you again see you in the summer :))
