The stay was pleasant, the room was basic but clean missed not having a bath and just a shower missed simple things like a hair dryer in the room although when requested at the reception I was given one and lack of choice of coffee and tea in the room.
It was very nice that there was no noise at night and meant a decent night's sleep.
Breakfast was acceptable, but you have to get there early when it comes out hot from the kitchen, or it is all cold from spending to long under the hot plates. The only big downside is it's a good 30mns walk from the town centre although buses seem to run outside the hotel but there is a good-sized car park if you drive.
The room was small but fine for just my 2 nights stay and acceptable. I'm not sure the room size, lack of luxuries and breakfeast beng hit and miss would make it comfortable for a longer stay.

Enjoyed our stay here. Top floor room looking over the rear car park. Big spacious room with good bathroom, shower and comfy bed. TV and tea making things. We had the in house breakfast which was nice with a good selection. The staff we met were all friendly and very good, Alona was so welcoming on reception and made sure we were alright every time we passed the front desk. The room servicing person was really helpful. Sorry I didn't find out her name as were the staff in the restaurant. Only downsides (and why no 5 star) was the very warm temperatures, no air-con, the windows are restricted opening which I understand but it doesn't make for bringing the temp down in the room. The electric fan had a broken base and wouldn't stand up. The room has a few USB sockets but would be better if there were USB C type. The rear access path and ramps need smartening up, it is so marked compared with the front. We parked in the back car park and it did feel quite unwelcoming. Overall we were pleased with our stay and will be back, and would recommend it.

We stayed here for 3 nights for a short ‘holiday’ each day we had to make our own bed. There was plenty of food at breakfast but it was tepid and stale. We will most certainly not recommend staying here

We had an amazing stay staff have been excellent and extremely helpful cannot fault them! The rooms are so lovely and clean, when asked for our room to have a top up they did! The food at the restaurant is so good the breakfast for 10 pound is a steal as its all you can eat! Their dinner meals are good too, me and my partner had two pulled pork burgers and some garlic bread and onion rings and the garlic bread was the best garlic bread I have ever had!! This is one of the best travellodges I have ever stayed in! They are pet friendly with only paying 20 pound cleaning fee for your whole entire stay! The staff are lovely and kind always happy to help and always cheery!
