The stay was pleasant, the room was basic but clean missed not having a bath and just a shower missed simple things like a hair dryer in the room although when requested at the reception I was given one and lack of choice of coffee and tea in the room.
It was very nice that there was no noise at night and meant a decent night's sleep.
Breakfast was acceptable, but you have to get there early when it comes out hot from the kitchen, or it is all cold from spending to long under the hot plates. The only big downside is it's a good 30mns walk from the town centre although buses seem to run outside the hotel but there is a good-sized car park if you drive.
The room was small but fine for just my 2 nights stay and acceptable. I'm not sure the room size, lack of luxuries and breakfeast beng hit and miss would make it comfortable for a longer stay.

First time back for a while and have to say it was perfect for all my needs both business and pleasure. Very easy to communicate with prior to arrival and the staff accommodated all my requests. Check in on Friday as smooth and very professional. I arrived around 1515 and it was great. No issues issues key within a minute or two. It’s my go to stay when down in the area. Room spacious and clean. Shower very good. 10/10 again from me. Mr AC

the area is run down, we walked out and many beggars about and foreign eastern people stalked my wife . room was not cleaned and no place to park in hotel as 4 commercial vans there at 3pm taking p 8 spaces and 4 empty disabled spots. parked in street and car scratched so assume neighbours not happy with the place. we had a room downstairs and had to put up with guest above stomping around for hours at 10pm onwards-never again

We visit Torquay Travelodge several times a year - and are always very satisfied with our stay - the rooms are a good size, the beds comfortable, everything works, and its very clean. Its well located and good value - and the staff are always available. We would give a special mention to Alona, who welcomes us with a big smile, and is always so friendly and helpful. Hotel was excellent value. Staff were Ok, and 2 were very good. Every day we decided to add breakfast, and some days dinner.

I stayed for two nights whilst exploring the area. It was easy to find and a good location - no need to drive into the town centre. I was happy with the 20 min walk to the marina but it could be an issue for others as the return journey is uphill. I had no issue with parking and the hotel had an extra car park (you turn left, then left then left again apparently), please note you do need to pay. There is a small bar/cafe if you would rather have an evening meal or breakfast on site. My room was near the main road but the noise didn't bother me. Overall it was value for money and a great base to go out during the day. I found the staff very helpful and courteous.
