Great for all types, Families especially... lots of choice, food , service very good throughout.. Situatated in a great part of the centre...away from all the hustle and bustle and close to everything...

This was one of the best holidays we have ever had. We travelled with our girls 9 and 6 and the hotel is perfect. We stayed for 2 weeks and really settled in that time and the staff were excellent. Shout out to Benjy who was great! Location: About a 10 minute walk into Torbole. It’s nice and quiet and we really enjoyed burning off the ice cream walking back. I never tired of the view of the mountains in the background and it is really special. Food: Everything is super fresh and they were really accommodating to the kids and nothing was too much trouble. Swimming Pool: it is heated so you do not get a shock as you enter. I was worried beforehand it looked slightly small but it is a great size. My girls got a float and would play in the pool for hours! Room: Really sleek and modern. The rooms are very soundproof and the quietest air conditioning I’ve ever experienced. Cleaned to a high standard and a lovely touch is a story printed every night to read to the kids. Staff: Everyone looked very happy to be there and this reflected that nothing was too much trouble. The reception were always available to discuss trips, deal with questions and on hand for anything. Overall a fantastic hotel and great base for the Lake.

Fantastic hotel with kids (6 & 8years old), heated outdoor pool keeped us busy. Beautiful views and room was very nice, we had a suite with one bedroom looking over the Garda. Excellent breakfast, there was everything you need. For the dinner dishes needed to be decided in the morning, that was difficult for the kids. In the restaurant service wasn’t on a 5star level all the time, but overall very friendly service. And hidden gem in the garden, Finnish sauna was absolutely beautiful with the best view.

We were happy with our stay until something happened that quite shocked me. As every day we went to the gym, my husband does professional sport for his job so the gym was a must for us. The gym is small but okay to do your practices. The first days we shared it with other people, switched machines and everything went well. Yesterday we entered the gym and there was a lady doing excercises with a personal trainer on her phone. We entered with our daughter, I smiled at the lady and we wanted to start our gym session. Before I could even start she looked at me and told me I was perhaps going to make too much noise for her ‘personal gym session’. I didn’t understand what she meant first so I was like: “well.. okay? So how can we workout without making any noise”. She made quite clear in an arrogant way it was better to leave because she could not train like this. My daughter of 4 years kept asking why we could not stay. Crazy enough we were so shocked, we left. We left waiting for 20 minutes in our gym clothes in some chairs ‘until she was finished’. After 20 minutes my husband told me to enter now because everybody had the right to go to the gym, it’s a public gym. We entered in silence and again she started acting arrogant towards me, she was clearly not amused with us entering. She even told at her personal coach loud enough: “wir haben wieder besuch”. When I told her my husband is a professional sporter she answered with: “I really don’t care I have my personal gym session”. When my husband came in between of the way she talked to me she start saying 10 times that’s my husband was aggressive. Imagine telling her this after my husband waited for 20 minutes in a chair. Who would even accept this in the first place :)? It would be the same if I go in the pool taking swim lessons and ask other guests to wait. When she left, I had a feeling she would go upstairs complaining at the reception. I went up and I was right. She was almost in tears putting up a whole show telling my husband was ‘aggressive’. Even using this word is really a big thing I think to use in public in a family hotel. She part that was worst for me, is that the receptioniste and manager went fully in. They took sides and made my husband look bad in front of all the guests that were in the lobby but also in front of our daughter. While we had to explain why this lady who was almost crying at the reception, was the same that told us to leave. Could you imagine? We will leave one day earlier because for me this ruined my vacation. I never had some situation like this before. Imagine a woman kept telling loud enough my husband is aggressive? That’s a big word to use for a person who did not do anything aggressive. That the hotel went along with her ‘victim act’ is a very said thing They send us a free massage by mail but for me this does really not change anything because the way they have treated us hurt me. Personal service, incredible food, stunning scenery and amazing kids club - this hotel surpassed our expectations and was perfect for us in every way. Our children (5.5 and 3) loved the pool slide and kids activities like gardening and cheese making. The facilities for young children are fantastic, especially for such a small hotel. It was the first holiday we’ve had as a young family where we felt genuinely looked after and we had a break! Highly recommended :)

Exceptional location, away from the busy waterfront with a great view of the lake and the mountains. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Delicious breakfast and set menus for dinner. Maitre Chef was 120% on with his team. Highly recommded! Love it!

Absolutely fantastic stay in Gardea Hotel, everything was superb from the front of house staff helping us to organise activities each day through to the catering team who looked after all our dining needs in particular David. Could not recommend the hotel more for a stay in lake Garda and unforgettable family experience

Its a super new, beautiful family hotel. We picked it since we booked the day before and were lucky enough to find such a gem last-minute (I guess it is only because it is so new and still a "little secret"). Everyone is incredible friendly - when we arrived early in the morning we were invited for breakfast while the room was prepared. We have 2 kids (2.5 + 5 years old) - they both loved it in the kids club (of course not staying there a full day but for a couple of hours to do arts and crafts or do kids-disco - which was enough to have a few kids-free hours and relax). The (heated!) pool is perfect for the kids to play in and in the garden there is a little playground and trampoline to entertain the kids when having an aperitivo. The food was amazing - a four course meal for adults and 3 courses for kids (kids can either have the daily kids menu or there is always pasta with tomato sauce / Pesto / bolognese etc. on request, free of charge) which we thought was perfect! In the end we only occasionally left the hotel in the 4 days we were staying there as it was an allround perfect little get away!
