Reservations were typically handled flawlessly through Hilton.com. Interestingly, we arrived at the hotel around 4:45, some time later than our planned arrival and meeting with our 28 year old grandson. He got to the hotel around 4:30 or so, told the young lady at the desk he was meeting his grandparents, and without having to present ID or a credit card was given the room keys to our room. Since he lives locally, and was meeting us to go to dinner he had no luggage and was not going to stay at the hotel. This situation shows a breakdown in front desk procedure and reflects poor training. I am aware of how fully Hilton trains all their front of the house staff, so hopefully this is a training opportunity. Ok. Enough of that. The room was clean and fresh and typically Hampton Inn. Great TV. The breakfast was sufficient but... well, sausage or bacon would have complimented the eggs or waffle. Overall, since we are Hilton Honors members, if we find it necessary to stay in Tomah again we will stay at this Hampton Inn.
