Hoteles de 3 estrellas en Tokio Taitō

La ubicación del hotel es muy buena. Se tarda tres minutos en llegar desde la estación JR Okachimachi. La habitación es pequeña pero limpia. El desayuno es un menú preestablecido en la cafetería subterránea. Es sencillo, suficiente y delicioso. El ambiente es informal y el servicio no parece un buffet con gente yendo y viniendo. En general satisfecho, sobre todo la ubicación es muy conveniente.

Overall the stay was good, breakfast was good. Room we chose is spacious enough for us to fit 3 big luggages and pack. Location is near Inaricho station or 10 min walk to Ueno station. What I don’t like about the hotel is the entrance and lobby are all staircase, I think this should be fixed in due time for a hotel to have a ramp for luggages easy access than have everyone carry them up and down 2 flight of steps.

Las habitaciones son un poco más espaciosas que las de otros super hoteles (a excepción de los premium), pero el vestíbulo y el restaurante en el primer piso son un poco pequeños. Esta fue mi segunda estadía aquí por negocios y, al igual que la última vez, me asignaron una habitación en una esquina. Creo que es porque escribí en los comentarios que quería la habitación más tranquila posible porque no podía dormir bien por el ruido de los trenes que pasaban durante mi última estadía, pero al final, ni siquiera la habitación de la esquina era terriblemente silenciosa. Las vías del tren de la línea Yamanote Akihabara-Okachimachi están muy cerca del hotel. De hecho, sin importar qué habitación te asignen, parece que sería difícil escapar por completo del sonido del tren. Y el baño público está en el mismo lugar y tiene diferentes horarios para hombres y mujeres, pero como suele ser utilizado por muchos hombres de negocios en viajes de negocios, temprano en la mañana y tarde en la noche son solo para hombres, lo que fue un poco inconveniente para las mujeres que viajan por negocios como yo. Si tienes poco tiempo, puede ser mejor alojarte en un súper hotel que tenga baños separados para hombres y mujeres. Sin embargo, el desayuno era delicioso, el personal era amable y, sobre todo, me gustó la ubicación, que está a solo 3 minutos de Suehirocho y 8 minutos de Okachimachi, así que creo que lo usaré a menudo en el futuro.

The room is small but still fits two large suitcases. Amenities are available at the lobby, which is a nice touch. The hotel is close to the street, so you can hear some car noise—light sleepers might want to take note. Overall, it’s a decent option with easy access to nearby attractions, making it a convenient choice for exploring Tokyo.

The location is around 2 minutes from Asakusa exit of Ueno station. At this exit has no elevator, it needs to carry luggages up-down stairs. The room is very nice and staffs are welcome.

The service provided by the staff is quite good. Knowing that we need to do self-serve after 10pm but since I need to take care 2 kids and not convenient to move, they come to my room and serve us. It’s great! However, need to remind people who booked the largest room. We come with our friends together. Both of them staying in a small room and they can enjoy daily clean up service. But for large room (2 double bed), there is no clean up service (even you request to the receptionist / the room keeper). They can just clean up your room until the 4th day of your stay. It’s really bad experience and make us feel uncomfortable. Also, whenever you get into the room, check the ventilation of the toilet and the air-conditioner. You can always find that it is stuck with the dust and cause a lot of noise during the night time. It really has some impact to sleeping

Comfortably located between Akihabara and Ueno. Both areas are easy to reach by just having a pleasant walk. Some metro and JR stations nearby, but not right next to the hotel. Tiny rooms (better come with small luggage). Room cleaning is not being performed everyday. There is a coin washing machine room in front of the reception. One downside was being informed at check-in about a high fee for losing the room key card. I didn't lose it, but the fee felt excessive for a plastic card and added unnecessary stress during my 10-day stay in Tokyo.

Dormy Inn Ueno Tokyo – A Small but Well-Equipped Stay During my recent stay at Dormy Inn Ueno Tokyo, I found it to be a compact yet highly convenient hotel, especially for travelers who prioritize location and practical amenities over excessive space. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it does a great job of providing a comfortable stay with thoughtful touches. Location – Perfect for Travelers One of the best things about this hotel is its location. Just a short walk from Ueno Station, it offers easy access to the JR Yamanote Line, the Keisei Skyliner (for Narita Airport), and multiple metro lines, making it an excellent choice for those who plan to explore different parts of Tokyo. Additionally, the Ameya-Yokocho (Ameyoko) Market is just around the corner, where you’ll find everything from fresh seafood and street food to clothing and souvenirs. It’s a lively area that adds to the appeal of staying in Ueno. Room & Facilities – Compact but Functional As expected, the rooms are small, which is pretty standard in Tokyo, but they are well-designed with everything you need. The bed was comfortable, and the room included basic amenities like a TV, a small desk, and a fridge. Storage space is limited, but for a short stay, it was manageable. The bathroom was also compact, though the onsen (public bath) on-site makes up for it. Onsen – A Small but Relaxing Bath One of the highlights of staying at Dormy Inn hotels is their public bath (onsen), and this location has one, albeit on the smaller side. It’s not the biggest or most luxurious onsen, but it’s a nice way to unwind after a long day of walking around Tokyo. The water temperature was just right, and while the space was limited, it wasn’t overly crowded when I visited. Freebies & Unique Perks Dormy Inn is known for offering small but unique perks to its guests. This location provides free popsicles and yogurt drinks, which is a nice touch. However, they are only available during specific hours, so if you’re out sightseeing all day, you might miss out on them. They also supposedly offer free late-night soba, a Dormy Inn signature, but I never actually saw it happen and didn’t feel like asking about it. Maybe I just missed the time window. Free manga reading Housekeeping – No Room Cleaning, Just Fresh Towels One thing to note is that Dormy Inn follows a no-daily-cleaning policy. Instead of a full room service, they simply drop off fresh towels outside your door. This is fine if you’re staying just a few days, but if you prefer daily room cleaning, you might find it lacking. Staff & Service The staff at check-in were friendly and efficient, which I appreciated. They handled everything quickly and provided all the necessary information without any issues. While I didn’t interact with them much after check-in, the overall service felt professional and welcoming. Final Thoughts – A Solid Stay for Practical Travelers Overall, Dormy Inn Ueno Tokyo is a great choice if you’re looking for a convenient, budget-friendly, and functional stay in Tokyo. The location is excellent, the onsen is a nice touch, and the small perks like free drinks and late-night snacks add to the experience. Just keep in mind that the rooms are small, there’s no daily cleaning, and some of the free amenities have limited availability. If you’re okay with that, it’s a great place to stay in Ueno!

En general no todo está mal, excelente ubicación, check-in rápido, todo lo que un viajero necesita. Pero las habitaciones tienen desventajas y peligros. De las desventajas: la ventana está escarchada y es imposible entender el clima de alguna manera y sentir algún tipo de emoción; La insonorización de la puerta de entrada no es muy buena y el hotel es popular entre grupos y hacen ruido en el pasillo. En la propia habitación (no muy grande) hay trabajos de mala calidad del arquitecto: 1. El frigorífico del armario se calienta mucho y la rejilla de aire caliente se dirige directamente a la almohada. Sufrí tos durante dos noches hasta que me di cuenta del motivo y cubrí la reja con una almohada, tuve que mantener las puertas del armario abiertas; 2. En la esquina de la pared a la altura del templo hay 2 ganchos para la ropa que sobresalen, a los que golpeamos fuerte, tuvimos que taparlos con una chaqueta; 3. Todos los muebles tienen esquinas afiladas. Como el único lugar para descargar las maletas es un pasillo estrecho, nos golpeamos con fuerza contra el marco de madera que sobresale alrededor del televisor; 4. La cama no tiene ruedas y en estos pisos se aleja todo el tiempo; apóyate un poco en ella y te puedes caer.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Paul House and found it to be excellent value for money. The location is convenient, making transportation easy, and the accommodation itself is very comfortable. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional service from the manager and staff, who were always helpful and accommodating. The hotel also provides useful amenities such as a washing machine, as well as plates, spoons, and other utensils. This makes it convenient for guests to bring food from outside, enjoy it in the lobby, and clean up afterward. Overall, I was highly impressed with my experience at Hotel Paul House. If I have the opportunity to visit Japan again, I will definitely choose to stay here.
