Utterly devastated by this hotel's complete disregard for its guests. Having reserved and paid for our room well in advance, we were unable to contact the hotel before our arrival despite many attempts by text, telephone, and email all of which went without reply. We arrived on the day of our booking to find the premises shut, no one around, no notice of how to contact the proprietors, not even a sign to indicate it was a hotel. After waiting several hours (and being told by the restaurant nearby that we were not the first guests that day to be left stranded), we ended up having to take a (much more expensive) alternative hotel at the last minute. It was only the next day that the hotel got in touch (proving they had our number all along) to ask where we were - the real question being where THEY were. Since that time the hotel has been arguing with *******, from what we can gather, over which one owes us a refund. But we have yet to see a penny of our expense recovered. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. It has been more than two weeks that we have been waiting for a refund and I have nearly given up hope. In fairness to the owners, when we see our money returned I will post a follow-up here.
