This is an old hotel and shows its age. Although, the rooms are large, the bathroom fitments are from another era. The air-conditioning was the worst. I don't think the HVAC system has been cleaned or maintained regularly. It was difficult to breathe in the room, with a heavy dank air coming out of the duct. 'Will never stay at this property again.

El hotel es un hotel muy agradable. El servicio era bueno. Especialmente para el personal de la mesa frontal, Srijita, que me asistió a mí y a mi familia. Ella hizo nuestro check-in y check-out abreeze. Otro personal llamado Rengasri, cuyo servicio al cliente es excelente. Ambos nos han hecho cómodos y agradables. Teníamos dos habitaciones y todo estaba bien cuidado. Me alegro de que Marriott tenga este personal y debería ser reconocido. Mi familia y yo estamos muy contentos con la estancia.

The hotel is located close to Chatram bus stand and I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. The hotel is about 15-20 mins frm the airport. The rooms and bathroom was clean. It has the basic amenities. The rooms had both fan and AC and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast spread was simple vegetarian affair and I was surprised to see fresh pooris and dosa served. We also had lunch at the hotel. We ordered chicken, rotis and fried rice and like the breakfast, the lunch was also tasty. The hotel has a nice pub on the ground floor and in the evening, one can enjoy a drink with frds or family. The staff was extremely helpful especially for a person like me who could not speak Tamil and were always ready to speak to the cab drivers. Recommend stay

In need of total refurbishment. The room was ok except for some reason the main electricity switch for the room is outside of it. On the last morning I was taking a shower and someone must have switched it off so I was in the dark. My room was on the 5th floor and the lift was not working. I took the stairs down in the morning and after that had to use the service lift (no airco and all rusty). The deckchairs around the pool are cracked as well as the cushions. 2 rusty tubes go into the pool. I had booked a room without breakfast by mistake when I went down in the morning I asked how much the breakfast would be. The guy overseeing everything told me it was complementary so I asked again and was he sure about that? 3 times he told me it was complementary so I had breakfast on both mornings but on the 2nd morning after I had taken my breakfast he came to me and told me that actually breakfast is not complementary and that I owed him 840 INR. Needless to say I was not happy about it. When I checked in I paid the totality of my bill so I was only expecting to have to pay the 840 INR of my breakfast. After a long discussion with the receptionist she told me I didn’t have to pay for the breakfast but I still had to settle 1100 INR. I asked what for? And then she told me it was a mistake.

Daily room cleaning Telephone not audible, informed several times Morning Coffee will be ready at 7 am, unfortunately we suffered Hotel provided all Amenities Including Water Bottles, Dental Kit & Refreshments. As requested they provided Match box, Coconut Oil,... Rooms were neat and clean Very calm place Unable to contact Room service or Housekeeping direcly, via operator we have contacted each & Every time.

The hotel was booked on line n specific rooms were requested a few weeks ago )4 rooms)on line, but when we came to check in about mid night, we’re told there was no ref to online check in and we had to show them proof of communication from our WhatsApp. Front desk is not to be blamed since they accommodated us but got is other rooms, No night duty manager but he she would also be not able to assit due to online booking. WiFi does not work in room( excuse was above 4th floor internet is bad) only clear at the lobby. Room toilets shower room edge on the floor have molds. Towels were brownish white. Receptionist does not give you 2 room door tags Since not policy- plus worst the key tag don’t work once you leave the hotel and return later ( in our case after 7 hrs on the same day)- excuse given magnetic issues if key tag kept beside hand phone. Saw a group about 10 family with kids (last night)checking in at night turn down since it did not register their online checking n booking- was so sad to see small kids & elderly tired but no rooms.- did not know the out come since I just went back to the room- hope their booking was accepted). Break first service is so bad that they are not ready for tourist at 7.30am( as we leave early to travel). Today I asked the waiter to on the lights and he was not too please to do so . We choose this hotel since the service was good for the price and have stayed here a few times before the covid BUT will not recommend any one to stay here if management don’t revert to their hospitality
