Le Tikehau by Pearl Resorts

Para empezar, este hotel cerrará a fines de 2022 por una remodelación importante. La ubicación es excelente. El personal del restaurante y el personal de recepción son personas amables y atentas que son simplemente fantásticas. De lo contrario, se siente que la propiedad está haciendo lo mínimo para mantener la propiedad en funcionamiento hasta fin de año. Las habitaciones y los jardines están cansados. Sin embargo, la propiedad está pidiendo un precio superior. Creo que es demasiado caro para lo que obtienes. Acabábamos de venir de otra propiedad de Pearl (Le Taha'a) y la diferencia es bastante pronunciada en la cantidad de personal, el estado de las habitaciones, la variedad del menú y la presentación general de la propiedad. Creo que el precio era casi el mismo entre Tikehau y Taha'a, pero obtienes un resort mucho mejor por tu $$$ en Taha'a. Tikehau es un lugar mágico. Cuando se renueve esta propiedad, debería ser espectacular. Hasta entonces, el costo parece terriblemente alto para el estado de la propiedad. Fuimos de esta propiedad al Kia Ora en Rangiroa. Una propiedad mucho mejor por mucho menos dinero, pero tampoco tan mágica como Tikehau. Todo es un intercambio, supongo. Esté preparado para una pequeña experiencia en vagones de ganado para el transporte al aeropuerto también. Cumple el propósito, pero ciertamente no es una experiencia acogedora.

TIKEHAU SUMMARY THINGS WE LOVED: 1.The resort beach and water around was very clean. Not a single piece of plastic or any other kind of trash. 2.Lots of little fish around the lagoon 3.Very big overwater villas 4. Very comfortable boat transfer from and to the airport. 5. Very friendly staff 6. Compared to Maldives overwater villas, these felt a lot more sturdy. We couldn't feel wind nor rain. Very easy to relax and quiet to sleep in. 7. Free minibar 8. Very good cocktails THINGS THAT WERE WEIRD: 1.All messages left by the hotel were in italian (have no idea why). 2.Most of the staff didnt speak/ understand english. Some would give us wrong food orders because of that, or provide us with incorrect information (instead of just replying "i dont understand"). 3. No drinking water was provided in the room, you had to shlep your way to the water fountain to refill bottles, yourself. THINGS WE DIDN'T LIKE: 1.Small flies on your food as soon as you sit down to eat. 2.Smelly villa sinks for the first two days. Thankfully it got much better after we continued using it. 3.Some dishes on the menu were so horrible, we were astonished. Old and dry salad with no dressing, tasteless steak, old ingredients...The poke bowl was beyond bad, the steak should be avoided too.... The breakfast was so sad looking too, terrible fruit selection with a ton of flies, burnt pancakes for 3 days in a row, little options and in general sad looking given what you are charged.... Kids food options were also a joke, dry tasteless fish with tasteless white rice. Some deep fried chicken (one of those you keep in the freezer for a lazy day). The only good option was a hamburger, i wish they simply served with some cucumber and tomatoes instead of super salty fries. Not exactly healthy for the kids. The pasta was with red sauce only (the lady said they dont put meat in kids pasta, however on the last day the guy brought my son bollognese....lol) 4. One of the robes was not clean Overall, i would not come back and i would not recommend coming here. There are better options out there for a much better price.

The resort is perfect. All the details are there, and high class dining is available round the clock. Our excursion with Mania and Tuhea was amazing, with pristine lagoons and a delicious barbecue on the motus. We have stayed in various accommodations in French Polynesia five times and Le Tikehau was our favorite!

Tikihau Pearl Resorts was absolutely stunning. We stayed in the premium OWB (44) and could not have asked for a better location. The hotel meets you at the airport and takes care of everything for you including luggage transport. After a short drive from the airport, you hop on a boat and they take you to the hotel which is on their own separate Motu. It is about a 10 minute ride. The service and cleanliness was superior in every regard. It is recently renovated so the bungalows smell amazing. And seriously have I mentioned the location?! If you go I suggest the premium side OWB and left side to get the sunsets. Ours was surrounded by reef and coral so we could hop right in and snorkel to our hearts content. There is only one restaurant and the food albeit a little pricy, was very good. You have a variety of excursions available to you at the hotel which they arrange. We took a 1/2 day snorkeling tour to swim with Manta Rays, dolphins, lots of “friendly” sharks, and about a zillion fish. Overall the experience was magnificent. The Pearl resorts is offering a pretty hefty discount (35%) for staying at two of their resorts so we are off to Le Taha’a Pearl resorts! I will absolutely be back to Tikihau, because it was a trip of a lifetime and the hotel made it all the more magical!

Just came back from a beautiful resort — the perfect getaway. The staff were so kind, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was so relaxing. Had an unforgettable time at a beautiful resort. 美しいリゾートから戻ったばかりで、完璧な休暇です。スタッフはとても親切で、料理はおいしかったし、雰囲気はとてもリラックスできました。

The beauty of the resort is undeniable. Pristine pink beaches, crystal clear waters, and if you're lucky a rainbow or two. While the location is second to none the staff are what makes this resort noteworthy. I wish I could name everyone who made this stay memorable however it would take all day. From the second I got up to watch the sunrises the gardeners would smile with a friendly IaOrana and that friendly sincerity is present all day in all staff members I was lucky enough to pass by. The smiles and warmness felt here are as beautiful as resort. I will note this is my second time here and the new breakfast is delicious! The breads were out of this world! Top it off everyday I got a fresh coconut drink, it's just another small detail that makes this place magnificent. I personally thank everyone here, it was exactly the "brain break" I desperately needed before heading back to the grind of the states.
