The Bridge Hotel

Enjoyable Sunday lunch, choice of beef, chicken and pork. Vegetables were perfectly cooked unlike some restaurants when they’re too firm. Very attentive and friendly service, fair prices and free parking. We will happily return in the future!

Friendly welcome and due to room being ready checked in early. Lovely large room, big comfortable bed with good bedding, nice big tv. Bathroom immaculate with toiletries supplied and plenty of hot water and towels. Quiet good nights sleep followed by very good breakfast. All staff and owner friendly, polite and professional. Thankyou very much.

Our room was great very clean and tidy and quite spacious with the biggest tv in a bedroom I have ever seen. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. They do breakfasts but we did stay long enough to try them.

Great little hotel, £80 a night with breakfast. The hotel itself looks nothing on the outside but the inside makes up for it, the chaps who run it are very efficient and friendly and make you feel welcome, the rooms are clean and beds very soft and comfy. Large flat screen Tv which was unexpected but great, there was a large fan in the room because it did get quite warm. Little fridge and tea coffee etc. great location for Santa pod and surrounding areas. Would definately recommend and come back. The breakfast was buffet but quality ingredients and fresh also cereal muffins, yoghurts and fruit with fruit juice

The room was quiet and the food was decent but unfortunately the shower did not work which is not acceptable in a business room which cost £103 pn. There was no attempt made to remedy the situation. The outside of the hotel also looks really tired and in need of attention. This is a shame as the hotel could be really good with some tweaks and a good clean

Decided to take a night away, and didn’t want to drive too far from home. Saw The Bridge, and decided to take the punt. What a great idea it turned out to be. As soon as you walk through the door, you’re made to feel completely welcome and comfortable. The foyer is fantastic looking and the bar area is very comfortable. And the room? Wow! I’d have easily paid £100 a night for this. Great decor, and the bed very comfortable. Couple that with the huge tv on the wall and very happy. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, and the facility welders very good. Breakfast was also excellent, and couldn’t fault it. I have to say, the owner is an incredibly personable and welcoming man, and we are looking forward to staying there again. I don’t give 5 star ratings, but this time, I had too. Thank you so much for a great night away from home.
