My husband and I stayed in Terma Linca Resort & Spa for 2 nights on 18th and 19th March and fell in love with the location! It runs parallel to river Wang Chu with a mountain in the background. The walkway is lined with beautiful weeping willow, peach and cypress trees amongst others and the whole landscape is utterly beautiful, making you want to capture every inch of it on your camera! Our room was on the first floor with windows overlooking the river. All the rooms have the same nice view though. There’s a good seating space too next to the windows, ample storage space and a safe too. The bathroom is spacious too. The food was good with options for vegetarians too and one can order a meal or teas and coffees by the river – which was a really nice experience for people like us who live in crowded cities. For those who are interested, every room is provided with traditional Bhutanese costumes that you can borrow and click photos in that attire without having to venture out to do so. The staff are super-efficient and Tshering in the restaurant and Tashi in the bar were exceptionally good. We also used the spa and the therapists were good and very professional. We would love to go back and spend 2 or 3 days again at Terma Linca when we aren’t hiking or exploring the city so we can soak in nature and make the most of our stay.
