From Norman castles to Newmarket Racecourse, there's plenty to see nearby, and some key business venues too. The outdoor scenes for Dad's Army were filmed in Thetford, and the Dad's Army Museum is well worth a visit while you're here. Or if you want to see a chart-topper, there are some great gigs at High Lodge Forest nearby. After a fabulous day out, come back to the hotel for lovely food at our restaurant and a great night's sleep in a comfy bed.

Having stayed here before whilst visiting family in the area I took advantage of an email offer that came through earlier in the year, it was for a room with free breakfast for both me and my wife, so for the first time I booked a premier plus room, these rooms a brilliant, so modern, amazing shower, mood lighting, coffee machine, chocolate, air conditioning which was a godsend, it even has a built in night light in the bathroom , both of us were amazed with the room, now for the best bit, because I took advantage of the offer we had a premier plus room for one night ( Sunday) with 2 free breakfasts for the amazing sum of £46, now that's a bargain , it pays to sign up for premier inn deals. and by the way breakfast was delicious as usual, see you again soon premier inn thetford.

Stayed for one night whilst visiting Euston Rural Past Times event. Very competitive price and availability for area. Room was very spacious and clean. Meal deal package well worth considering for the price and quality of food. Breakfast was busy but flowed well. Would definitely recommend.

Like many older premier inns this one suffers from a dreadful combination of no air conditioning and windows that only open a couple of inches. During a recent stay, this meant that the room was unbelievably hot and the only solution that the staff could offer was a fan (see picture of the in room thermostat). The staff were lovely, the breakfast good but this was amongst the worst nights ever. And don’t think about claiming on the “good night guarantee” - that doesn’t apply to climatic conditions in hotels without aircon!

Great pleace to have a good night ;) with a reasonable budget. But what elevates this to another level is an amazing staff. They will really make you feel welcome and will cater to all your needs. Excellent stay, I cannot recommend it more!!!

Best night sleep in a long time. Clean crisp sheets. Pillows fluffy (will be buying) Firm matress Room and bathroom clean Better than alot of good hotels I have stayed in. Lovely restaurant on site had a great breakfast and dinner. Would recomend.

As always, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Michelle the Manager, is always accommodating and nothing is ever too much of a problem. Also Caitlin a lady behind the bar, is always promoting offers and keeps us informed with what is on offer with drinks and food.

Receptionist very rude and unhelpful.Was made feel that I was lying about the room not being clean and prepared, bed unmade room not clean. Although we have made more reservations at other Premier Inns, I m not sure about honouring them. A very poor experience.

Lovely hotel perfect for an overnight stay before centre parcs Elveden. The hotel is clean, staff in the restaurant are friendly, breakfast was great with lots of choice, evening meals were good value for money especially in the £26 deal they run. Lots of car parking spaces you just need to register your vehicle on arrival. The only thing we were really dissatisfied that the milk in the room had gone off so split when put in my tea. My daughter then went and grabbed some more off reception and they split too! In the end I went in the restaurant and asked for a glass of milk as there was no one on reception
