Another great couple of days at the A For Art, the staff are so friendly & rooms individual, visited last year & enjoyed so much repeated the visit this year, great location for town, museum, bus, ferry & the town., will hopefully return next may Yvonne Millard

After an incredible stay last year, we returned to the A for Art Design Hotel last week — and it was every bit as magical as we remembered, if not more so. The hotel continues to offer an extraordinary blend of artistic flair, comfort, and genuine hospitality. From the thoughtfully curated design to the beautiful garden setting, every detail contributes to a truly unique experience. What sets A for Art apart is the warmth of the staff. They made us feel genuinely welcome and remembered, creating an atmosphere that felt both personal and relaxing. It’s not often that a hotel becomes a family favourite — but A for Art has absolutely done that for us. We’re already looking forward to the next visit. Highly recommended without hesitation.

We absolutely loved our stay at A for Art. From the very first moment we walked into the hotel the staff couldn’t do enough for us. They made us feel very welcome, especially our children, all the staff always made a fuss of them. The hotel is faultless, the breakfast was amazing. The location is superb. The atmosphere and vibe just what we were looking for. The swimming pool looked smaller on the photos but it’s a great size in real life and kept incredibly clean, our children absolutely loved it. Thank you again for a fantastic stay, we’ll be back!

This isn't the first time I've stayed at A for Art, but this time I'd like to give my feedback. The staff are simply outstanding, friendly, helpful and always smiling! The rooms are very clean, and the breakfast is excellent with lots of special little touches. On the first evening, there was a live performance with very good music, and the restaurant was top-notch! Keep up the good work, hope to see you all next year, and have a great season. Thank you to all the A for Art team!

Other commentators paint a fairly thorough picture of the strong points of A for Art Design Hotel, and deservedly so. I'll focus instead, and briefly, on a somewhat different experience I had, the presentation of a book of mine. It took place in the garden of the hotel, next to its solitary, tall roman pine tree -- a signature of the place. The seating arrangement was thoughtful and comfortable; the head of IT, resourceful and polite, made certain the sound and picture quality were top notch, in spite of the twilight conditions; the chef demonstrated the excellence he is well known for with a cold buffet of impecably executed, mouth watering amuse-bouches; and the waiters silently and politely made sure the wine was never absent from the glasses. Combined, these saved the night, for the guests, undoubtedly bored to death by my interminable babble, were able to claim they had a memorable evening.

We have just returned from 2 weeks at A for Art Hotel, which is just exceptional. It is one of the best hotels we have stayed. The service is outstanding and the staff can't do enough for you. It was our anniversary during the stay and we had dinner in the hotel which was fantastic. They made us a special cake and we were honestly treated like royalty. We would like to say a special thank you to the general manager, Christos and his team including Caterina, Virginia, Andreas, both Sofias and Imrahaim. There were many other staff too who made our stay so memorable. The hotel is in a great location right in the centre of Limenas, very close to bars, restaurants and the port. We would highly recommend this hotel and Thassos, which is a lovely island.

We had a one week stay at the A for Art hotel in Thassos town. For me the location is perfect being on the doorstep of all the restaurants and tavernas. A pretty decent beach is about 10 minutes walk away. The hotel itself is very pleasant being a much nicer environment than your usual Greek 4*. It has a very intimate feel which helped many of us guests socialise with each other. The hotel is more suited for a romantic get away than taking the children for a holiday. The staff are incredibly friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We did eat at the Hotel Restaurant (The Lost Sheep) and it was an exceptional experience. All in all it was one of my best holiday hotel stays.

We were looking for somewhere just a little bit different to spend a week celebrating our wedding anniversary and we're so glad we chose A for Art. The hotel decor is quirky and stylish. Our room was very comfortable with a super comfy bed. The breakfast was immaculately presented with a great selection of fresh breads, fruits, Greek pastries, cakes, hot foods, something for everyone. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Everyone was so lovely! We dined at the hotel restaurant on 2 evenings. The creative menu, the attentive staff, what an experience! Every mouthful was just delicious 😋 A perfect week in a perfect hotel.
