I stayed at the WinStar on February 21, 2025, in room 20417, and it was a deeply disappointing experience. The primary issue was the complete lack of hot water. The shower provided only freezing cold water, making it unusable. I contacted the front desk around midnight, and maintenance was sent to my room. After spending about 20 minutes there, they informed me that it takes an excessively long time for hot water to reach the room, making a comfortable shower difficult. This is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one that claims to offer a high-end experience. Upon checkout, I explained the situation to the front desk and requested a refund, as I felt it was unfair to be charged for a room without basic hot water. The situation escalated when a manager intervened. Her behavior was extremely unprofessional; she raised her voice and even threatened to call loss prevention. I was shocked and appalled by this response. The lack of hot water, combined with the incredibly unprofessional behavior of the management, made this stay a complete disaster. I strongly advise other travelers to avoid room 20417 and, based on my experience, I would be hesitant to recommend the WinStar in general.
