Premier Inn Tewkesbury

Staying 4 nights was 3 nights too much. This Premier Inn is definitely fit for single night stays although not pleasant for anything more. Generally I would advise giving it a hard miss. The generic Premier Bedroom outlay meant it’s comfortable but, that is where the positives end. Phone signal is bad and the free Wi-Fi is even worse. The food is terrible, the food hall/ pub is understaffed and put you into seats they can observe. I will not be staying here again

It's a Premier Inn, so almost totally lacking in any character whatsoever. Welcome was efficient but lacking in warmth. Room was functional and clean. Bed was too low, but comfortable enough once lowered into it. Meals were forgettable and somewhat over-priced.

Stopped at this premier inn to emergency charge my car and went for a drink while waiting. Despite being a customer at the bar, we were told that we still had to pay for parking. In the bar, we were then told that my 14 year old daughter and I couldnt order food as we weren't overnight guests but they were happy to serve us drinks for some reason. Shocking service and awful attitude from the staff.

The premier inn is the usual affair and nothing wrong with it at all, staff are friendly and helpful, parking is good and check in quick and hassle free, however the changes made to the restaurants in many of the premier inns has destroyed any enjoyment to be had from staying there, if it says premier inn restaurant please do yourself a favour and find somewhere else to eat because it doesn’t matter where it is, it will be better, I travel the country with work and it doesn’t matter where it is the premier inn restaurant is the worst idea ever. I genuinely can not see why premier inn think it’s a good idea. Premier inns are still a familiar place to be and so I keep using them but if I can travel further and avoid one with a premier inn restaurant I will ( sadly today I didnt have time to get to where I was heading and booked quickly without checking)

As Premier Inn go this is great, you can hear the M5 if you have the window open. Staff are great,friendly and helpful. Outside its in desperate need of a gardener, grass is getting long and messy and weeds. The pub next door is now only for people staying over, only open when they have staff available. I haven't been in so can't comment.

We received an email a week or so before our booking to say that the restaurant was being refurbished. Not a problem we think, it’s just getting a fresh coat of paint. Not quite the full story. PI’s are built next to other Whitbread pubs, eateries. In this case the eatery has actually closed and opens purely for patrons of the hotel - and is staffed accordingly. So this hotel does not have good dining facilities. Order of starter to first bite, about an hour. Admittedly main was about 10 mins after clearing away starter, so that was good. Seems though that the refurb is several months away - before it starts! There is a Travel Inn on the same park, and they have their own restaurant. If we visit the area (which is beautiful BTW), we will give that a whirl in preference to the PI where everything is premier except the food! Also the room we had, yes, standard PI, but could not clear the plug on the wash basin. Couldn’t tell any staff - no one around.
