I Cacciagalli

Our stay at I Cacciagalli exceeded all expectations. We chose this hotel because we wanted to visit a local winery while researching my family history in Teano, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. Although we only stayed one night, I could not have been happier or felt more at ease on my very first day in Italy. Even before our arrival, Paola was wonderful with communication and helped arrange transportation from the local train station in Vairano. The property itself is beautifully maintained, and Paolo gave us an excellent tour of the vineyard. We learned about the grapes and winemaking process while enjoying the sight of chestnut, olive, and pomegranate trees. We even had the chance to visit with the donkeys and chickens, which made the experience even more special. Our room, located at the back of the first floor of the main building, offered a lovely view of the pool and terrace. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, and the shower was fantastic. Breakfast was plentiful, with eggs, bacon, fresh juice, and a wide assortment of pastries. While most of the staff spoke limited English, they were patient and kind, and Google Translate made communication easy. I especially appreciated the gentleman at breakfast who kindly shared tips about where families with my grandmother’s surname could be found in the area—a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot to me. I cannot wait to return to Teano, and when I do, I will definitely plan a longer stay at I Cacciagalli.

I Cacciagalli is a charming, beautiful and well-maintained resort. We visited in October, and it was mostly quiet at the beginning of the week but more guests arrived toward the weekend. The grounds, with its chestnut, hazelnut and cherry trees amount the grape vines, have walking trails for guests - highly recommended. The staff was friendly and kind. We found Vincenzo particularly helpful and concerned for our needs. Highly recommend wine tour and tasting. Restaurant had excellent food as well!

I Cacciagalli sono sempre una buona idea e scelta di relax. Siamo tornati e abbiamo piacevolmente riconfermato il nostro pensiero sulla struttura. Nota positiva va al Ristorante, allo staff e al Direttore, notevolmente "migliorati" rispetto alla nostra passata esperienza. Accoglienti e professionali.
