Opoa Beach Hotel

This is a very cozy resort with charming “colonial” style white bungalows. Nice, practical and even romantic. Fantastic location. There is definitely a nice tranquil atmosphere here. A very friendly and high service level from owner and staff. We had half board and was impressed by the level - tasty French/Polynesian fusion I would say, We rented two e-bikes at hotel to go around the island (100 km) - owner booked a lunch at Raiatea lodge and arranged with bike company to have two chargers ready at the lodge. Exquisite service. We had a 10 hrs boat trip with it Ares Tours to Taha’a. Fantastic day mostly at, occasionally in the, sea. Vanilla farm, Distillery, Pearl Farm and drift snokling at French Polynesia’s most impressive snorkling spots - and at last lunch at motu - the lunch was very very good - the Are tour team very competent tour guides. We also had the pleasure to see dolphins the morning we arrived and we got into a kayak and rowed into lagoon where they passed us. We also went snorkelling on the little island in front of resort. Beautiful corals but so rich fish wise.

Conclusion: I stayed at Opoa Beach for 3 night - I really loved to stayed at this hotel. I had a bungalow at the beach, which was the perfect location. The hotel had a really good restaurant - amazing breakfast and dinner was perfect. The staff was really kind and the support during the airport strike could not have been better. I will be back. Review: I booked the transfer from the airport to the hotel. It is 45 min drive. Very easy. We came to the hotel very early and we got the bungalow within 30 min. There was no really check in, everything was settle during check out. Again the staff was really kind and helpful. We were impacted by the airport strike in French Polynesia, where we could have been stranded in Raiatea for days.The guy in the reception was really helpful. He chartered a speedboat for us and some out guest from the hotel, who took us to Bora Bora. Thank you very much. The hotel is located directly at the beach. The hotel is really small a very quiet and cosy. There is nothing around the hotel, so you need a car, if you want to go any where. You can rent bikes on the hotel. The bungalow was really cosy. It was located directly on the beach with a huge coach directly at the beach. I had an amazing view on the sunset from the bungalow. The bungalow was clean. The only negative thing was the Wifi, it is really slow, which was a bit triggy, because we need the wifi a lot due to airport strike. I have booked half board, where I had an amazing breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. It is a cold breakfast, but you can add eggs to the breakfast for 1.000 XPF. The dinner is an amazing 3 course set menu. It was really good. You can not have a swim directly from the beach, you need to go to pier to get into the water. The hotel also have a pool, which was not used by many people. I have booked a Taha´a trip via the hotel. I can recommend to do that. Visited a vamilla farm, pearl farm and rum distillary. During the boat trip I saw reef sharks, dolphins and mantarays. We have lunch at very cosy private beach. At the end of trip I could snorkel in a coral garden, but it was not something special - only a few fishes.

This is a dreamy little resort on a beautiful beach area of Raiatea. The bungalows are wonderful, and the ambience of the resort overall is very lovely. The dining room serves very tasty meals though those with a dinner package have restrictions on what they can order. Overall, a great place to visit. Owners are very friendly.

This was one of the highlights of our trip - we went there for several lunches during the beginning of our stay in French Polynesia and loved the place so much that we decided to change our booking to stay at the Opoah Beach for the last night of our stay in Raitea. The beach bungalows are immaculate with fabulous views and all the amenities you need. The restaurant is right on the beach in the most stunning location. The atmosphere is amazingly relaxed and the staff incredibly friendly. We stayed here at the end of August with our two young boys and had a fabulous stay. Just wish we could have stayed loner. Highly recommended.

Excellent location, superb cuisine, friendly & professional staff with relaxing vibes. We've been here with group of 14 tourists and everyone leaves this paradise with smile:-) Accommodation facilities are crystal clean, private beach with awesome molo views on ocean scenery. Highly recommended!

A delightful, quiet, lagoon side location not far from Taputapuatea in the south of the island, about 45 mins from the airport. We stayed in one of the stylish beachside bungalows. Arnaud was a great host, the staff friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the breakfast and dinners. A highlight of our French Polynesia experience.
