Tallinn City Apartments - Old Town

What a lovely and quiet apartment in Vene 19. We were 5 friends, and we stayed one night. The view from the window was amazing. It was nice as there was plenty of room also in the living room. The apartment was quiet as requested. Will definitively come again.

Management was dishonest with me and caused me unnecessary hassle. I booked an apartment for a 2 night stay and when I saw that my apartment was on the 4th floor without an elevator, I contacted the property to cancel because I have bad knees and could not carry my suitcase up steps. When I contacted them to cancel, telling them that I cannot due steps due to my bad knees, they offered me another apartment on the “first floor” and I said that works - assuming it was truly on the first floor of the building. I already had booked a different hotel and I was fine with losing money on City Apartments but in light of their offer, I cancelled my other place since it wasn’t paid for yet. Then I arrived and upon entering the building I quickly realized my apartment was really on the 2nd floor because they call the first floor the “ground” floor. When I contacted them their excuse was that “we didn’t know you needed ground floor because you didn’t specify ground floor”. Now, I told them I could not do stairs so why would they think that this “first floor” apartment would work for me? Any logical human being would understand that no stairs means no stairs. It doesn’t mean “hotel guest can climb one flight”. I went up to the room anyway and upon entry the place smelled like sweat. It was so gross. It was dingy and worn in. I then rebooked the other hotel at the same rate as City Apartments the hotel was way nicer. I would not recommend this place. Book a hotel - it’s not any more expensive.

We had never been to Tallinn before, and had no idea what to expect or where to stay. This apartment is a great find. It is centrally located in the Old Town area. It is well appointed and secure, with all the amenities you need for a several day stay. Kitchen, coffee maker (coffee provided!), refrigerator, etc. Very clean. Even a laundry facility at the apartments which are free to use (but take forever to dry) The only downside to our unit was that it was on the third floor with no elevator, but we didn’t mind the exercise. Front desk staff was very helpful as well. The price is a great value too!

Cozy, clean and nice renovated apartment in the city center of the Old town. Very good location. The apartment is placed on 5th. Floor. Nice friendly staff on 1st floor. Good beds, nice kitchen, 2 nice bathrooms and one with a good sauna. If we had any question the staff answered Quick.

Clean & stylish apartment. We slept very well and found the place very comfortable in general. The location is great, can recommend the coffee at Caffeine which is only a few steps away! The customer service pre-stay was very good and quick too. No complaints from me, I’d definitely stay here again :)

I stayed several times in Tallinn in different location with City Apartments. Always clean, easy to check-in/check-out, fast in communication. My favourite choice is Apartment in Toom-Rüütli - spectacular view on old town and Baltic sea!
