Oh, and the cocktails are heavenly… What makes it extraordinary, though, is the vision behind it. Belgian owner Zofie has created more than a getaway: she’s built a haven where guests can recharge in nature, locals thrive, and the land has been lovingly restored following the devastating tsunami. The photos do not do it justice. This is not just a holiday. It’s a slice of heaven you’ll never want to leave.

Cape Pakarong was the nicest place we have ever stayed during our multiple decades of travel around the world including some of the most high end hotels and resorts (boutique to grand). Why is this? Zofie and her team think of everything. The feeling of being there is totally personal, full of kindness and caring but at the same time completely private. The rooms/villa is perfectly designed and the quality of the everything is the best we’ve encountered (and I’ve owned custom built & designed architectural award winning flats in Switzerland and designed and built a house in the US as well) - Switzerland being the gold standard for quality in my experience. But it’s not about the materiality, the entire landscape and location imbue the most peaceful feeling. Close to the nicest beach in Khao Lak (coconut beach), fantastic little local restaurants nearby as well. We rented scooters which gave us total freedom to explore. Dear Traveller Are you looking for a holiday in paradise? All I can say, Cape Pakarang Wow Wild Wellness Escapes is definitely the destination to choose. The 8 units hosting max. 16 adult guests are set in a beautiful garden full of bird life, nice smells and calming sounds. During the day, the wonderful large pool invites for a sunbaking session and at night with its little stars glooming for a dream session. We stayed in a pool villa with our own cooling plunge pool. The living room and the bedroom are both air conditioned and offer all amenities and luxury you need. The modern and minimalistic design is inspiring and supports you to fully relax day and night. The bed is very comfy and the blinds keep out all light. Sleep was a bless. The rooms are very spacious and the friendly cleaning team does the perfect job. The breakfast is made with love and offers more than enough choices for every gourmet. To get up in the early morning and sit on our pool watching the sun rise over the sea was the perfect start into each day. In the evening we walked a few minutes to the other side of the peninsula and enjoyed the sun set. The scenery is fantastic. And on top of all this, there is Zofie, the owner of the hotel. Her lovely laughs will follow you through the day. Zofie will help you with everything you need. She will organize transport, restaurants, tours and much more. Zofie is full of good advises and she will guide you through your holiday. There is no better and happier host than Zofie. The only downside of Cape Pakarang is that one day, you will have to leave….

We haf a wonderful stay overall! The hotel and entire property are beautiful – stylish rooms, great pool, and a very welcoming atmosphere. Staff was very friendly. Only downside: no direct beach access, but the Lookout offers great views. Would definitely recommend! Let me know if you'd like it even shorter or with a different tone!

I can’t speak highly enough about this place. Zofie thought about every last small detail someone could think of and It felt like an escape from reality. At Cape Pakarang and the Mala Mar, you’ll meet the friendliest staff you’ve ever met, your mind will be relaxed as it has never been before and the only time you will feel a bit unsatisfied is when you’ll need to leave this amazing place. Can’t wait for our next time here.

Wonderful boutique hotel. Zofia and her team were superb. The room was amazing . Stunning views, beautiful design. The breakfast was one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had. We ate at the tapas restaurant in the evening and that was also very very good. Yoga 3 times a week was also a great start to the day. Will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.
