Location: Excellently situated adjacent to a shopping arcade, with convenience stores conveniently nearby. Service: The reception staff are accommodating and helpful. Tidiness: The room was maintained in a clean condition. Accessibility: The hotel’s location ensures easy access to public transportation, making it a breeze to explore the surrounding area.

Hoteles limpios y limpios. La cama es muy cómoda, el jardín es muy limpio, me han enterado en el jardín. El salón es muy bueno. Bueno, es la Feria Ochazuke? Durante mucho tiempo, me disfruté por primera vez del sabor japonés y me gustaba bien. El desayuno también es muy delicioso. Pero si tienes nazis, no hay quejas. El cuarto es un poco pequeño, el viento con aire acondicionado se acoge directamente a la cama, no es bueno para el cuerpo.

This was my fourth stay at the JR Clement, and I keep going back because it's always a good experience staying there! This time I booked a more spacious room, the deluxe double, which had a great view across the city to the mountains from both the bedroom and the bathroom, with the sea and cute island of Ozuchishima visible to the right. In the past, I've had lovely views of the port and castle from smaller rooms. I think all the rooms have views of some sort. The bed was comfortable, and everything was very clean and well-maintained. It was nice to have a larger space with a bigger desk, plus a small table and easy chairs by the window. There was a generous daily allocation of toiletries (in packets rather than bottles which was good) - loved the lavender bubble bath, and the Olive Energy products were excellent. The hotel provides a daily newspaper as well. The staff are always knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. I didn't eat in the restaurants (I think there are three), but don't miss the delicious cakes and pastries from the in-house bakery! The location is perfect, at Takamatsu Port two minutes from the JR Station, and across the road from Takamatsu Castle/Tamamo Park and Takamatsu-chikko Station. There is also a busy bus hub (including for airport buses) and taxi rank. Many shops and eateries close by. It's lovely to walk by the sea without having to travel to do it. Great sunsets! From the port you can catch ferries or fast boats to Naoshima, the other the art islands and Shodoshima. It's about a 2km walk to my favourite garden, Ritsurin Koen, or you can catch a train from Takamatsu-chikko. Already re-booked for this year!

I had the opportunity to dine at several of the on-site restaurants, and each meal was a culinary delight. The breakfast buffet at “The Dining” offered a wide variety of both Western and Japanese dishes, all of which were fresh and delicious. The sushi at “Seto,” the hotel’s Japanese restaurant, was some of the best I’ve ever had, prepared with the freshest ingredients and utmost care. The staff at the restaurants were attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall dining experience. One of the standout features of JR Hotel Clement Takamatsu is its array of facilities. The fitness center is well-equipped and maintained, allowing guests to keep up with their workout routines. I also took advantage of the hotel’s spa services, which were incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. The massage I received was one of the best I’ve experienced, leaving me feeling completely refreshed. Additionally, the hotel’s rooftop bar offers a spectacular view of the city and the sea, making it an ideal spot to unwind in the evening. The hotel’s location is another significant advantage. Being adjacent to Takamatsu Station, it provides easy access to local transportation, making it convenient to explore the city and its surroundings. The nearby Ritsurin Garden, one of Japan’s most famous historical gardens, is a must-visit, and the hotel’s proximity to the ferry terminal makes it easy to take a day trip to the nearby islands of the Seto Inland Sea.
