As far as this hotel's location is concerned, many other reviewers have already noted its great location and proximity to convenient things and landmarks. Since other reviews were from pre-pandemic, I will share what is different for 2022 when I stayed after Taiwan opened up on Oct 13, 2022: 1. There was no 24-hour front desk personnel. Tripadvisor hotel description indicates ”24-hr front desk”; another travel site indicated 11:30 - 19:30. What I observed was far shorter than that. 2. Tripadvisor hotel description indicates free towels, but the reality is that only 2 facial and 2 hand towels were provided in the bathroom. If you want a bath towel, it is an extra fee, which was not disclosed on Tripadvisor and the other travel site I relied on. 3. Despite the room had a standard housekeeping light switch which I had activated the morning of my second day, I was dismayed to learn that since the pandemic, housekeeping services had been eliminated. This was not disclosed anywhere on Tripadvisor and the other travel site. 4. ”Luggage storage” amenity is basically keeping your luggage in the lobby hallway. 5. Free kettle and coffee machine are in the communal area, which like most things were not allowed to be used, presumably a leftover policy from the pandemic. But thankfully the communal refrigerator was usable, and based on the honor system where you mark your things with a marker pen. Beware though, this refrigerator got jam packed on some nights. So if you plan on staying more than a couple days, please keep the above in mind, as it may affect your decision to stay here or not. If I had known about the bath towel cost and lack of housekeeping, I would not have stayed here for the non-refundable price I paid. Hot water in the shower was not always consistent. My first shower was with barely warm water. Other times, I had to keep the hot water running for nearly 5 minutes to get any hot water. Not a major issue for me, but it does make me sad about water waste. The room I reserved was the Sunshine Double Room with Window. The window faced west, straight at the exit ramp of the underground parking across the street. Basically every time a car or scooter exits the busy garage at night, I got a blast of bright bouncing headlight in the room. So the only options are to use the blackout blinds and feel like you're in a tiny windowless box, or deal with frequent headlights in your room. Otherwise, the air conditioning was working well, keeping the room cool and humidity in check. I've been to some budget hotels where the AC unit was unable to remove moisture from the air, which is a terrible feeling. The bed and linen were comfortable. I'd surmise that service and amenities were better before pandemic. I just wished the Tripadvisor description had been updated to accurately reflect the reduction in service and amenities. Am I willing to give this hotel another chance? Sure, if the description was accurate and the price adjusted co
