Grand Sylhet Hotel & Resort

Never thought there would be such a huge and comfortable hotel in Sylhet. This hotel truly lives up to its name. And for what it offers, the price is very affordable. Rooms are large, comfortable and clean. Within the hotel grounds, you would be able to find good restaurants, mini mart, arcade and even a movie theatre. Staff were also very warm and arranged our transport back to the airport though we had already checked out earlier in the day. Highly recommend.

My wife and I went for a staycation there for two nights, we didn't have a good experience regarding restroom, it was winter, after check in, went for shower but water heater wasn't work properly, either it's too hot or cold, and pressure fluctuating, i called the reception, they suggested me to put water controller on centre to get warm water, but it didn't work then i called them again and requested to change the room but it was negative, though they sent repair personal, which wasted our time. The repair personnel were quite unprofessional, his shoe wasn't clean, so made the washroom floor dirty, though they mop later, but i felt it's unhygienic, after fixing the water issue, the next day it came back again, the water issue was never solved properly. To note the washroom floor is quite slippery due to the wrong floor tiles choice, other than that staycation was average, hope the management will improve matters, at last thanks to them for letting us delay check out and airport transportation.

Amazing place to stay in sylhet right next to sylhet airport my room was beautiful I had the executive suit from my terrace you can see sylhet airport runway place taking off and landing also amazing view

Overall I had a pleasant stay. It's a great 5 star hotel. Check in and check out was smooth. Great reception, great service and vibes. Room is clean. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was fine. This hotel is close to the airport and far enough away from the noise and hustle. I will definitely come again.

It’s with great pleasure that we have such a beautiful hotel in sylhet.today I went to grand sylhet hotel and resort with my friends.they have different type of restaurant s.and they amazing shisha lounge I like it and my friends also.i went to shisha lounge with my friends.shisha lounge was very well arranged.we order one shisha it was fantastic.thanks to mr Rubel And Limon for such a beautiful shisha.

First the good stuff. We enjoyed an awesome 17 nights here. We had 3 rooms, two adjoining. Rooms and facilities were good. Housekeeping was outstanding throughout our stay. The staff in the lobby and reception always friendly and cheery. The pool & leisure club staff were great. Buffet breakfast was outstanding. Only criticism is when it’s busy things did run out creating a wait for food. Also juice and beverage choices were limited. However, the manager got us what we wanted from the back on request. Eg. cappuccino, hot chocolate, latte, orange juice, pineapple juice etc. but my view these should be on tap at a 5 star hotel. The alacarte food, buffet lunch and dinner were not as tasty as we would like but all presented beautifully. Sadly the pool heating was off most of our stay, very disappointing as the children loved it when it was warm. Lots of renovation works and noise during our stay. Also roof top cafe closed throughout our stay again very disappointing. Would have been nice to have more grounds to the hotel eg, outdoor green, walking area, football pitch, tennis area, then it would truly be a resort.
