Beautiful little guest house on a farm situated just outside of Swellendam. A little difficult to find if you don’t know the area, but the owner was very friendly and helpful. The owner recommended some good restaurants to dine at too. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Just a 5 to 10 minute drive from the center of town.

Beautiful property in serene surroundings, very friendly hosts. The property has everything you need, even the braai has been set up complete with charcoal and firelighters which we have forgotten! Wil definitely return for a longer stay next time. Location is great with lots to do close by.

It could be made short: Perfect. Starting with easy booking, excellent reception and check-out, professional. The Country House is in an excellent locations to enjoy the nice scaped garden, the pool and the cottage. There is a lot to be discovered, all close and easy to access. We had a small cottage, cosy and well done, all amenities were good, it was feeling like home from the very first moment. Recommended for anyone looking for a cottage in a quiet location with stunning views onto the montains.

We were met by the host George on our arrival who showed us to our lovely room. It was both spacious and clean and the quality of the furnishings and decor are of a good standard. The room overlooked a paddock with horses and pigs with a view of the mountain beyond. The room had a lovely terrace with a comfy sofa to enjoy the view and tranquillity

We have stayed at Arumvale on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. We received a warm welcome, everything was clean and tidy. Our accommodation was well equipped.

Arumvale was a delightful surprise with a fully equip garden cottage in serene surroundings. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Well equipped unit with a panoramic view to the nearby Langeberge. Tastefully decorated and spacious. Owner always around and very friendly and helpful. Our unit was serviced every day. A salt water pool in the beautiful garden with lots of trees and lawn area, is a plus.

We were a large family group that stayed one night en route to Mossel Bay. We had a wonderful stay with adequate accommodation they even supplied cribs! George was a gracious and great host. Thank you and God bless your establishment. Errol
