Just returned from another trip to this absolutely fantastic family run hotel. Big thanks to Tony and Kate and the small team behind this wonderful hotel. Special mention to Kate and Anastasia who do a great job in the dining room. Tony runs the bar excellently. There is a tv in the dining area and on the terrace, which I noticed did show some English football. The breakfast consists of cold buffet selection, cereals, and a large toaster. There are usually 3 hot options in the covered serving dishes. Fresh fruit is cut up and laid out. Tea, coffee water and orange juice is available. The evening meal consists of lots of salads, cold meats and cheese as a buffet. There is a soup option and usually a pasta dish and one other meat option in the hot dish. For the main meal, you choose either the one meat option or the vegetarian option. If you didn’t like either, you would never go hungry due to the buffet which is on offer. Super comfortable beds, everywhere spotlessly clean, wonderful food, will cater for gluten free if you inform them in advance, and in a wonderfully quiet location. Can’t stress enough, nothing is too much trouble and Tony and Kate will always do their best to help you with anything you need. Around the pool area, lots of sun beds and umbrellas and a nice children’s play area next to it. There is absolutely no need to reserve your spot! This is probably due to the amazing beaches less than a 5 minute walk downhill from the hotel. The Marina and another beach is around a 10 minute walk away. There are 2 decent sized supermarkets just along from the hotel and a much larger one uphill on the main road. This takes around 10 minutes for me to walk to. If someone had walking issues, I’d suggest sticking to the supermarkets along from the hotel, which stocks all the basics you’d need. The room has a decent sized fridge and a hairdryer is supplied too. If you wanted some food during the lunchtime period this is also catered for, and the prices are very reasonable, and food very tasty. There are a number of restaurants scattered about and a fish and chip takeaway a 5 minute walk away. Lots of cafes with outdoor seating areas too. Must just say, English is not always spoken, so I sometimes had to rely on google translate, which was a great help. Downstairs in an area just off of the lobby area, there is an ironing board and an iron for guests to use. There is also a table football machine and a comfy sofa. The hotel does not have a lift, but someone will always carry your case for you upstairs. If you have walking difficulties this could be an issue. The bus stop to go to Sunny beach or Nesebar, is located on the main road, on the same side as the medical Centre, next to it. The number 5 takes you to both and costs 3 lev, cash only, a bargain. The journey to Nessebar takes 35 minutes, little tip if going there, go early ie get there before 9am and you will have the island more or less to yourself. Go later, and you will encou
