Waterman Beach Village

We arrived on 1st September, easy process at front desk, lovely staff. We were allocated B3. Exceptionally clean and tidy, spacious enough for 2 of us. Great range of Kitchen facilities inside. Beds are very comfortable and the air conditioning was amazing and very much needed. Lidel is a 5 minute walk along the main road, no pavements but we found not crossing until the Supetar was safest. There are other supermarkets further on but Lidel was perfect for us. They have everything you need including mosquito plug ins and spray. (The mosquitoes come out mid afternoon so spray is essential). The pool is great, plenty of both sun and shade, no shortage of loungers. Its a cold pool but fine when you got in. The beach is a 5 minute walk and again no shortage of loungers. Beach shoes are a must as its a pebble beach so you need them for going in and out the water. The water is stunning, crystal clear and warm. Loungers are €6 per day and the beach bar opened at 1130- 1800. We didnt eat breakfast or dinner at the restaurant on site but we heard it was lovely. We chose to walk into town along the beach walkway, its a beautiful walk and only 10 minutes. Take a torch as it isnt lit at night. Supetar is a lovely harbour town, plenty places to eat or get a drink. Great people watching aswell! We used the washing machines on site and only came home with 1 lot of washing, its a brilliant free service and clothes dry so quickly. We will definitely return, it was an amazing peaceful holiday. Absolutely loved the location, the staff and cant wait to return! Thank you.

We stayed in a bungalow that was clean and just the right size. It was beautifully situated among blooming trees, and the shaded patio was perfect for relaxing. I can highly recommend this place! It’s not overly touristy, just a great spot to unwind. You can use the mini-golf course, pool, and games for free. Lidl and other bigger supermarkets just up the road. The beach is just below, by the promenade, and if you follow it, you’ll reach the town in about 10 minutes. Plus, staying here gives you access to Waterman Resort, a larger hotel complex with multiple pools, beach activities, restaurants and more. We also booked a nice boat trip to see good snoreling spots.

Upon arrival we were given a bungalow that was totally inadequate which wasn’t a good start. However it was very quickly & happily resolved and from that moment we have had the best holiday. Our second bungalow was a brilliant location tucked away and by the beach which was perfect for our 4 & 3 year old. The pools are small but for the age of our children it was great & their confidence in the water improved greatly over the week. The sunset bar was a little disappointing especially when I was served a fake Aperol Spritz but we watched England play in the Euros here one night and we were very happy (the result probably helped too :) The location is fantastic and we loved visiting both the beach & port which are beautiful. We’ve had a very happy time here, thank you so much!

We stayed at Waterman Beach Village for 7 nights booked via Jet2, very clean, well maintained and perfectly equipped accommodation. Staff were excellent. Accommodation was cleaned daily with daily towel changes, all beds were fully changed mid week. Location perfect for a 5 minute walk to the beach or a couple of minutes walk to sit around the pool. Food available on site, had a lovely evening meal on our last evening. 15-20 minute coastal walk into Supetar, beautiful port town with lots of good restaurants. Highly recommend, for families or couples. You won't be disappointed.

Spent 10 days here as a family of five with three children under 10. Weather was glorious (36 degrees and sunny apart from one night of dramatic thunderstorms). Location is stunning, beaches and sea are gorgeous and the swimming in the sea is lovely. We really enjoyed Supetar as a town with its restaurants and sea swim spots. The beach village was smaller than we had thought it would be which meant not much for the children to keep them entertained, the pools were small and the park was limited as well. We had seen online that there was a kids animation programme but this wasn't on at all while we were there which was a shame. We did enjoy a few days at the sister hotel on the other side of Supetar harbour though which was a hot 30min walk away but had 5 swimming pools we could use for free and another lovely beach. Accommodation at the beach village was clean and modern, a bit tight with 5 of us but a family of 4 would be fine (sofa bed as 5th bed wasn't very comfortable but the double and bunk beds were all comfortable). Lidl and two other big supermarkets are very close which was handy and big thanks to the lovely waitresses who served us breakfast every morning (this was included in our easyJet package and was made to order and very nice). Would recommend this for a peaceful holiday in a beautiful location but if you have young children consider bringing a beach cart or similar to pull them along the seafront into town as it was a hard walk for our little ones in the heat and they are (just) too old for a buggy.

Service about complains: From my point of view the complains are not taken serious and if you have requests to check refunds, then you need to write emails to customer service as this is not the duty of the reception, which is annoying, time consuming and not customer friendly. Housekeeping: The housekeeping was not done properly. The first day of housekeeping included was not done during regular hours but only after request in the afternoon, the towels/sheets were changed in the evening. However, no cleaning as such like floor was done. Second day no cleaning was performed, even after reminder in the afternoon. Beach: Towels and sun screen have been stolen as we left this unattended on the beach chairs. Therefore, keep always an eye on your belongings if you want to keep the stuff.
