We visited this hotel on an all inclusive basis for 1 week myself my husband and our three children aged 15,12 and 8. We Arrived early hours around 3am on Tuesday morning check in was easy the guy on reception was please t enough. The room is old fashioned but ok, we had two bathrooms which was a nice surprise but the sofa bed was awful, stained and very uncomfortable. The Cleaners come daily and change the sheets and towels every 4 days if you want them more frequent there’s a charge. The location is nice 5 minute walk to the beach and there’s a shop under the hotel. Now That’s the good things about the hotel. The food well let’s say they do not cater for English people. It states pizza, burgers nuggets etc (well there wasn’t any of this) breakfast 8-10 included toast, boiled eggs, 2 types of cereal some ham and cheese and raw bacon! Lunch no idea it wasn’t labelled and it was like a free for all I would queue to get food for myself and the kids and people would barge past and i had to tell a Russian man off for picking food up with his fingers! There was chips everyday but it was as though they put the chips that weren’t eaten at lunch back out at tea time. There was spaghetti pasta Every day too but no sauce to go with it, Lunch 12-2 again awful. They cater more for Russians salad bar is ok then they have meat and veg it’s floating in grease, apparently we found out there was rabbit with its liver left inside for one lunch time. Snack is 4-5 they open a pack of biscuits on a tray and some bread rolls then the Evening meal 6:30-8 again another free for all and awful meal. Then For the drinks! There’s a big fella who works behind the bar and I’ve never met Anyone so rude in all my life. My kids went to the bar and he said “what” no manners here at all! Coke is ok like aldis own the orange Fanta awful watered down doesn’t taste like orange, when you ask for lemonade you get something that looks like cloudy lemonade and tastes like grapefruit. If you want sprite, water or proper Coke you have to pay extra! The ice cream for kids is ok. The pool was ok however the steps in the middle are still broken and have now been taped up (apparently someone else wrote a review and mentioned these over a year ago) They don’t do normal teabags at all. You are Not allowed to take drinks from the bar to your room (so my kids couldn’t have their pop) they don’t do cocktails (which is fine because I don’t drink but just so others know). I have spoke to the rep who wasn’t overly helpful im more upset about the fact it wasn’t particularly cheap and I always choose all inclusive with the kids because it’s easier however we’ve had to spend our money on eating out everyday because the food was terrible and im genuinely very easy going but I want English families to not waste their money on booking here. I also do t think it’s that cheap when you go out. I have been to Bulgaria (golden sands before but it was 20 years ago so I was really looking forward to bringing my

Food = terrible would rather go spend a week at a prison and eat from there. Very limited choice, cold food and raw spent majority of my money eating out even though we PAID for all inclusive. The chef needs a serious word !

Avoid this like the plague. Asked for ground floor as disabled - we were put in 6th floor. Food was diabolical, staff rude and injuries sustained due to leaking shower and broken pool areas. Tried complaining too and Balkan holidays AND ABTA wiped their hands of us. Still reeling from the worst holiday EVER

We don’t often do reviews but thought we needed to with the Rose Village in the Nessebar area of Sunny Beach. We booked the Rose Village mainly on price, the fact it was all inclusive (a must with kids), and that the majority of the reviews were on the positive side. After booking we started to notice a few negative comments which worried us a little before arriving, we needn’t have worried. The Rose Village isn’t a wow hotel, it’s an ‘is what it is’ place. It is however clean, the staff are great (never came across any who were rude), the food was of a good standard and a good choice, the inclusive drinks weren’t branded but were drinkable (and no small measures). A number of people whinged about the food every meal time, all British unfortunately. Yes, there were chips and spaghetti every lunch and evening meal, but this was only a small part of a decent selection, and it was the whinging families kids that filled their plates with chips, with tomato sauce anyway. In addition to the chips and spaghetti there was always another potato or rice side, and there was always four/five other dishes in the hot area, two or three of a Bulgarian nature, and one or two like burger or nuggets. There was always a good choice of salads, cheeses and fruits, and also little cakes, pastries and ice creams. Breakfast was decent too, always hot choice of bacon, beans, scrambled egg, plus different sausages, pastry and pancakes. Variety of bread for the self-toaster and fruit, plus honey and choc spreads. We had no complaints but we did keep away from chicken just in case and stuck to pork and veal. We think the complainers who thought that buying in a pizza every night over the all-inclusive should probably stick to Blackpool! The AI drink selection consisted of beer, all wines, vodka, white and red rum plus a couple of Bulgarian drinks that could also be mixed to make other drinks. All soft drinks and coffee to. Yes, this did stop at 9.30pm. We had ‘penthouse’ twin bedroom apartment which was top floor (ovs) and had plenty of space, kitchen with fridge and a tv, aircon in each bedroom, wifi and iron. It wasn’t flash, but it was functional and cleaned at least every other day. The second bedroom could have benefited from a wardrobe. Pool area was cleaned and tidied every morning, some of the pool mosaic tiles were missing, and strangely no grout below the waterline, but nothing that would show up negatively when posting your photos online. Oh, and yes, seagulls do wake you up early in the morning. Sunny Beach needs to have a seagull cull. To sum up, its a good hotel for the price. If you want bigger AI selection pay a little more and go to Antalya. We couldn't complain for what we paid and great to fly from Teesside Airport.

Management and all the staff were very helpful, my room wasn't big enough for 2 adults and 2 14 year old boys so as soon as a 2 bedroom room came up we got moved, we had a late flight and was able to keep a room from a fee, we always found plenty to eat at all meal times, only negatives nothing for children to do need to have a games room and music round the pool. Location was brilliant.

We were a family of 5 staying in a 2 bed apartment with pull out sofa bed in the lounge on an all inclusive basis. Apartment had plenty of space for us all. Twin room had an en suite which was a nice surprise. Beds were comfortable. Apartment had a large fridge freezer, a few cups an little else which we were not surprised about given we were staying all inclusive. The apartment was cleaned every day with fresh towels left. Meal times were 8 - 10 for breakfast, 12.30 - 2 (i think) for lunch and 6.30 - 8 for evening meal. Snack was from 4-5pm and was biscuits, pastries and ice creams. Good choice in the restaurant none of us struggled to have something that we liked. Loungers were reserved around the main pool which was a little annoying, particularly when they weren't being used for most of the day. however we always managed to find space around the second, smaller pool. Staff were friendly and we could not fault that they were always clearing tables etc. We paid extra to keep the room as we had a night flight which also meant we kept the all inclusive status. Area wise there are a choice of shops and bars nearby. It was about a 10 minute walk to Sunny Beach and probably about 15 minutes to Nessebar. We used the land train a few times at 6 Lev pp. The beach was a 5 minute walk away, lovely soft sand and watching the sun come up one morning was an experience. We went to the aqua park in Nessebar which was great. Cashless once inside as you load money onto a wrist band which you can then use to buy food and drinks once inside. Would definitely recommend this if you enjoy water parks, loads of slides, pools and sun loungers also lockers at 5 Lev with a 5 Lev key deposit which as returned. We ate out a few times, reasonable prices given there were 5 of us, around £50 with drinks for all.

Have just returned from a week away at Rose Village we were a large family group of 13 staying in different sized accommodation and all were perfect for our needs we had a studio 2 one bedroom apartments and a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment we had all read the reviews before we went and arrived with an open mind we were all pleasantly surprised the food was always nice could have been a bit better for the kids ie pizzas burgers ect the staff were always polite and friendly and absolutely no rushing for a bed by either of the 2 pools in fact we had the smaller of the 2 to ourselves some days the hotel is in a perfect spot in-between sunny beach and nesebar and only a 5 minute walk to the beach with water sports and beach bars I really don't get all the negative reviews on here we've all agreed we would return we had a really great holiday

Awful for all inclusive 😕 food was disgusting either under cooked or over cooked with only 8 dishes for the whole hotel! Many people complaining. Mould on bread or stale There is bar Vicki attached to the hotel yet you have to pay for drinks triple the price anywhere else, there is also a snack bar attached which sell pizza/burgers ect these you have to pay for even if your all inclusive. The snacks they offer is a biscuit that's it. You can only get ice cream at certain times and drinks cut off at half 9 even though every other all inclusive is 11. Not much variety for drinks either beer is waterd down if u want coke/sprite/ Fanta you need to pay. Arrived early morning with children couldn't even get a bottle of water as shops shut at 3am lifts didn't work neither did lights had to use are fone as a torch. Nothing for children apart from a pool that tiles were hanging off and so were the ladders also pool was not cleaned once in the 2 weeks we were there. Had to ask for towels and pillows 5 days later we got them. The hotel is brilliant location and would be brilliant for self catering very budget holiday Staff also very rude there is no pool bar it's the main restaurant just the other side which is tiny and you wait 10 minutes to be served! Had to miss out on extra trips as we didn't expect to eat out 3 times a day!
