The staff were friendly and helpful the room was clean and tidy

Just had a one night stop over in this hotel. From outside the surrounding area doesn’t look great. However, from check in to check out fantastic, polite, friendly staff. Room warm and clean, yes does need a little TLC, only there to sleep so all good. Plenty tea coffee. Bottle water, crisps, chocolate and can of coke all left in room a lovely touch. Plenty of hot water and lovely clean towels. Great for parking on site and just a short taxi ride into town. Breakfast continental or hot sandwiches again great staff. If I need to stay over in the area again this will be my go to hotel. Thanks

Me and my two daughters aged 21 and 11 had a last minute booking. Our booking was easy to do online and I used my Blue light card to get a discount, I'm a registered nurse. We stayed for two nights with breakfast. The price was great value. We were greeted by Adam who was so friendly on arrival and made checking in smooth; helping to sort out the parking and even carried our cases to our room without question. Our room was very clean, comfortable and a good size. The only negative is noise; the floors creak and I could hear people upstairs and in the corridor. (I did request a quiet room as Im a very light sleeper). This was such a shame because we loved everything about the hotel, especially the staff! Breakfast was a bonus and the quality was good! I especially liked the cooked offerings although not essential. I must say the staff went above and beyond what we were expecting and we could feel that they genuinely cared about our experience. Both Sarah and Emma were lovely; especially Emma at checkout.  The staff really make this hotel special. If the room noise and creaky flooring could be sorted it would be just perfect. We would stay again and maybe an upstairs room may have been a better option. However, we  congratulate the staff on a super pleasant stay.

Clean, reasonably priced rooms. Breakfast was limited but for price, no complaints. Staff were friendly, helpful and acommidating. Adam in the evening was especially pleasant and helpful. No Food facilities for lunch or evening but we brought back takeaway and ate in breakfast area, with no complaints from staff.

I was pleasantly surprised how nice and well positioned the hotel was based on some prior comments. The hot b'fst on offer was more of a sausage, egg and/or bacon sandwich with some hash browns option at a few well appointed tables set off the main reception area. Really tasty sausages and bacon as it happens. I was more than happy. Continental style bfst items also available inc. some lovely muffins. The staff were so friendly too. Did have to pay for parking but then again the good room rate I paid compensated for that. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel was great near to shops,buses lovely walks very friendly staff when we got back in our room on Saturday before Easter Sunday the Easter bunny had being left note and treats that was amazing breakfast was nice free tea,coffee in reception
