The hotel does not deserve to belong into the Continental chain. There is a face lift off currently going on, but apart from new bed sheets colors, there isn't really any value added to the old place from the '70- '80s. The food in the restaurant is still good and so it's service. Lodging is a different matter: We arrived on a cold, rainy April day. We've walked around, the we dined, and ultimately, around 7-7:30 we've gone to our rooms. The room was frigid cold. Reception told us heating will go on at 9 pm. My wife has severe health issues. We asked to get the heat pump of the AC working, so that we could get some heat. The receptionist had to call the manager's home number several time to have her agree to give us a remote to start the AC unit. Around 9 pm the heating was on but was scarce. We woke up shivering in the morning. We paid approx. 90 euros/ night which, by local standards, it's a significant sum.
