We booked a king-sized bedroom on Agoda at a promotional rate, which included breakfast for two. The price was very reasonable—lower than any hotels with a direct sea view in Subic. The room was okay; the bed was comfortable, and the linens were clean. However, the TV should have been upgraded to a smart TV. The balcony needed a table and chair, and a small dining table in the room would have been a great addition. One major issue was the sewerage system—the bathroom had a strong sewer smell, so we had to keep it closed most of the time. A stronger exhaust fan would have helped. Now, onto what we loved! The direct sea view was stunning, and the internet was fast and reliable, which was essential for my wife and me since we work remotely. The room was spacious, and our kids had plenty of space to enjoy. The rooftop swimming pool was a highlight—offering a beautiful view and a kid-friendly design. It wasn’t heated, but given the warm Philippine weather, that wasn’t a problem. The hotel had parking, and the location was great—everything was within walking distance. The beach was public and easily accessible. The elevator wasn’t working during our stay, but the stairs were manageable for us. It seems they don’t have a restaurant, as our breakfast was served via room service. However, they allow food deliveries with no corkage fee, which was a plus. Overall, despite some minor issues, we had a great stay and will definitely be back!
