Aplend Hotel Ovruč

I recently stayed at this property and, overall, had a pleasant experience. However, there were a few issues. Prior to my arrival, I had requested for the couch to be set up as an extra bed. This request was approved by the receptionist, but unfortunately, the bed was not set up upon arrival nor was there left any extra bedding . Additionally, I encountered the housekeeping staff on several occasions. They did not return greetings, and on multiple instances, I overheard them having loud arguments—both inside the building and even from several floors away when they were outside. This was quite disruptive and took away from the otherwise peaceful environment of the property. The lift was super tiny and had to wait long time as housekeeping was moving around with vacuum cleaners etc . My dad is 80 years old so opted to wait for the lift as he did not feel like taking the stairs up to the fourth floor . Aside from these concerns, the rest of the stay was very enjoyable. The facilities were well-maintained, and everything else met expectations.

Hotel Ovruc Great hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. Communication at the hotel wasn’t always the best - we got little to no information about the spa, far example. Restaurant has limited hours bur staff were great and food was excellent.

The hotel was beautiful, and the staff were nice and helpful. However, one downside was that they didn't fix our wifi problem during our entire 5-day stay. The only place we could use wifi was in the bathroom, which was very inconvenient. The breakfast options were not satisfactory, so we opted to have breakfast outside. On the other hand, I can recommend the hotel restaurant for lunch or dinner; we were very satisfied with both the food and the staff.

Comfortable apartment, well-equipped kitchen. Super double bed. Modern and beautiful bathroom. The apartments can be reached by elevator from a convenient underground garage. The hotel is close to the center of Lake Csorba and restaurants. The tram station is a few meters away, but its proximity is absolutely not disturbing.

The hotel was clean, the saunas were enjoyable, and the staff was friendly.
