Great place to stay !! Very comfortable room, the people are incredible helpful and last but not least : the kitchen brings you the most tasteful dishes you can dream of ! Strongly recommended ! We stayed here 4 days and all of them were at a high level. On top the weather was better than expected so top and a big thank you to the waitresses !

Fantastic hotel and place to stay. The new rooms are really nice. The staff at the reception when we arrived was exceptional, and in fact everybody was really professional, helpful and very nice during the 3 nights we stayed there. The restaurant is fabulous, for breakfast and dinner the food is really nice. I really recommend this holiday resort, we wish we could have extended our stay a few more days.

Quite the place to stay at once you've reached it! Beautiful new rooms, rooms with loads off windows to enjoy the magnificent view. We stayed here for 3 nights in July and can fully recommend it. The good: + The location & view is great from both the rooms and the restaurant (even if it's a bit of a drive to get there) + Fresh/new rooms (we appreciated the massive windows overlooking the water, the mini-fridge, water cooker, the nice bathroom, and the fact that there were plenty of outlets) + The staff is overall very friendly and supporting and accommodating. + The food from the restaurant is simply great (both the dinner and the breakfast) + The jacuzzi (which we used) is a nice extra thing to treat yourself to and relatively affordable and with again a great view. + Several excursions are available by boat or foot, as well as kayaks for rent (if you have the right license) or otherwise with a guide. + The terrace is a great place to be and enjoy the surroundings. + The (needed) black-out curtains. Perfect during the long summer days. + The cleaning overall The less great (though of minor concern to us): - the restaurant was a bit understaffed when we were there. Several guests had to wait quite long and the relatively junior waiters made some extra (understandable) mistakes under the pressure. - It was a bit unclear how the payment for drinks / food consumed during the stay was to be handled, different staff members treated this differently (some required you to pay right away, others suggested to put the drinks on the room while this initially wasn't allowed, etc). - The rooms can become a bit hot during sunny days due to the fact that one side is completely of glass. - There is no option to get food around lunch time, given the relatively desolate place, I would have expected to have at least some basic options.

The rented house was dirty, sofa stained , including mold in the bathroom . Disastrous wifi. To our great surprise, a real disappointment, after 3 weeks in Norway where the hotel business is of a very high standard. As for table service, you have to be very, very patient; you have to wait more than an hour and 15 minutes. The organization of the dining room is totally dysfunctional. We have the impression that this establishment lives off its reputation. The only good note is that the cuisine is excellent.

Nous avons logé dans l ancienne partie composée d appartements. La salle de restaurant commune ou nous prenons le petit déjeuner est absolument superbe avec vue sur la baie. L accueil est tres agréable. Seul bemol mais de taille : tout est tres calme dehors, cependant notre appartement a ses murs communs avec les cuisines/arrières cuisines du restaurant et nous entendons absolument tout ce qu il se passe jusqu’à une heure très tardive et le matin assez tot. On a l impression que le voisin demenage toute la nuit. De plus, impossible d ouvrir la fenêtre car un bip régulier est émit en permanence et ils diffusent une musique d ambiance sur la terrasse en continu. Quel dommage alors que tout est si paisible…a l’extérieur de la chambre! L Hotel doit être certainement plus calme

Prachtige, rustige locatie. Fantastisch uitzicht van op de kamer. Onovertrefbaar. Mooie kamer met groot raam- bed zo gepositioneerd dat je vanuit je bed een subliem uitzicht hebt. Kamer prima van grootte. Recent gerenoveerd maar met betere materialen ( ipv grote spaanderplaten voor plafond) had men de kamer zonder grote meerkost naar een hoger niveau getilt. Voldoende kastruimte, kleine minibar en klein bureautje. Voldoende schakelaars maar helaas geen aan het nachtkastje, tenzij je nachtlamp uittrok. Gordijnen gaven geen volledige verduistering maar ook niet evident met zo een gigantisch raam. Badkamer in orde. Weliswaar maar 1 wastafel en geen aparte toiletproducten in douche. Prima douche, snel warm water. Minpunt was gebrek aan kamer service. We verbleven 3 nachten en de kamer werd geen enkele keer gecheckt, bedden werden niet opgemaakt, handdoeken niet gewisseld wanneer wenselijk. Toen ik ging navragen en meedeelde dat we dit bij dergelijk type hotel toch verwachtten, werd weliswaar de gevraagde nieuwe grote badhanddoek aan de deur gebracht, maar kamer werd niet gecheckt en vuile handdoek niet mee genomen. Ook dag nadien geen service, hoewel duidelijk was dat we dit wensten. Zou de keuze van de gast moeten zijn. Ontbijt prima. Ook restaurant ( half pension) van goede kwaliteit. Alleen eerste avond lang moeten wachten, vooral dan op dessert dat kant en klaar stond ( ruime 45 minuten). In totaal toch meer dan 2 uur aan tafel gezeten eerste avond wat gezien beperkte keuze ( 3 opties) overdreven lang is. T****e en derde avond wel vlot. Personeel zeer vriendelijk. Eigenaar niet gezien. Organisatie in restaurant wel wat chaotisch, alsof men eerste dag open was. Wijn op onze kamerrekening gezet terwijl we elk 1 frisdrank hadden genomen - ons niet terugvinden op de lijsten terwijl we bij de naam ook dadelijk ons kamernummer hadden vermeld - eindafrekening van drank, door onszelf op 10 seconden gemaakt, duurde lang en was dan nog verkeerd: deels dubbel geteld. Kleine onvolkomenheden die echter in hotel van dit niveau en prijs niet thuishoren. Wellicht nog weinig ervaring van huidige staf. Maar samengevat echt een pareltje en zeker aan te raden. Je kan er ook activiteiten boeken. Er zijn 2 jacuzzi's. Maar daar hebben wij geen gebruik van gemaakt.
