We had stayed here before when awful woman ran it. She was very rude and unhelpful and obviously in the wrong job. Later I found out she had been on four in a bed and had marked the worthy winners down do she could win. Anything my friend had booked this stay and I was a bit weary of returning. But omg what a difference new owners make. It was like a different place. Spotlessly clean and fresh. Very welcoming hosts. And a superb breakfast. Nothing was any trouble for this lovely couple. Hope previous owner enjoys her retirement and leave running this delightful place in safe hands. It was faultless.

8 of us booked out this guest house as a reunion venue after meeting in India What a gem, gorgeous decoration, beautiful and well thought about rooms. Everything you need. Ana and her husband are delightful and so hard working. The guest house is spotless and breakfast was amazing, so many choices and the produce first class. Water taxi (3.00pp) can be called from the bottom of the garden into Stratford a lovely little trip. Our hosts gave up their own family space to accommodate us in the evening. Very humbling, and very much appreciated! We had the most amazing weekend staying here! If you want to stay in Stratford then this place is for you. The images online do not do this gorgeous place any justice.

Fabulous two night stay with Anna and Andre. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choices a little bit different from just the regular full English breakfast. All freshly cooked. Thank you both

An absolute gem! I stayed with my 95-year old mother recently and our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Ana and Andre have put their heart and soul into the guest house with a winning formula. Set in a stunning and tranquil location and yet close to Stratford, the guest house and hosts are homely and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. We stayed in the 'blue room', which was lovely and had the most amazing ensuite bathroom. The attention to detail in every aspect was outstanding. Can't recommend enough. Thank you so much Ana and Andre!

Thank you Ana and Andre for a fantastic stay. Perfectly situated for short walk into town, or pub and restaurants in opposite direction. Lovely large garden leads to river. From initial arrival welcome to departure nothing was too much trouble for our brilliant hosts. Room was spotless and whole building had a friendly feel to it. Breakfast was superb. An extensive selection from hot menu cooked to order accompanied by a range of cold meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, juices etc which were a breakfast in themselves. Ana and Andre go above and beyond to make your stay special. Thankyou both.

What a lovely welcome from Ana and Andre to their superb home set in a beautiful location. We had a lovely stay in their blue room - spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished with a stunning en-suite. Delicious breakfasts and I would recommend you try their specials. A nice walk along a road with lovely houses into Stratford on Avon one way and a short walk to a pub and good Indian restaurant the other.

The Water's Edge is lovely place to stay. Set in its own grounds, with plenty of parking. A delightful back garden stretches down to the river Avon and has tables and chairs laid out for use by the residents. The house is very spacious, stylish, luxurious, light and airy, as was the room we stayed in – the bathroom was new and the shower commodious. Everything was spotlessly clean. The choice of breakfast is way beyond the normal fair with culinary delights a specialty of the hosts. Ana and Andre are the perfect hosts, warm, helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable. We cannot rate this very special B & B to highly.

Andre and Ana were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent . Very clean and comfortable room with an amazing view. Would highly recommend. Very quiet location within easy access to the water taxi. Many Thanks for a lovely stay.

Booked a 3 night stay over Easter weekend for myself, my partner and 3 children. We were blown away by the warm welcome from Andre and Ana, they couldn't do enough for us throughout our stay. The room was spotlessly clean and exactly as advertised, spacious with a good size bathroom for the 5 of us. Breakfast was served hot and fresh every morning, with plenty of smiles and a personal touch. Ana even took the kids out to feed the swans by the river one morning which they loved! Would thoroughly recommend a stay here and we will definitely look to return soon!
