The Carriage House at Strasburg

Perfect hotel for your stay in Lancaster. Clean and updated, close to sight and sound theater. Very nice locally owned business. A coupon for the coffee shop across the street is included. Will stay again when in the area. The room decor is lovely.

We were recommended to the Carriage House during our last trip to Strasburg by regulars - what an absolute gem. We stayed at one of the duplex suites that’s in the log cabin by the road, my kids could not believe that “it’s a real house” and I couldn’t believe that we get to use that adorable kitchen! Beds were extremely comfortable, everything was super clean. We hung out on the front porch in the rocking chairs to watch the horse and buggies go by. Since the room is close to the main road, the bedrooms even included white noise machines. Food at the Speckled Hen and Bespoke Brewing down the road is absolutely phenomenal. We hope to be regulars, too!

Every year we come to Lancaster County. We see the sites, buy some fabric, watch a show, and even eat the food. Each year it has always been the same thing. Sitting on the bed and watch tv....always eating out......not feeling like we were part of the family. Not this year!!! We stayed at The Carriage House at Strasburg and we have finally found a home. The studio that we stayed in had a sleeper, queen size bed, table, kitchen, and bath. We could order out and keep the food in our fridge and reheat the food in the stove....yes I said it....stove! Don't believe me....we have stayed at the Holiday, Cla....one and the H....that reminds me of chocolate. This one takes and devours the cake. Great Job Carriage house.....we are adopted to your family.

We have stayed at this hotel before in a regular king room, which was cozy and comfortable; but this time we booked the King suite. The King Suite has a comfortable sitting room, with mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave and a spacious bedroom and bathroom. It is so tastefully decorated and well appointed, they really thought of everything to make it feel like home. We will be back!

CLEAN, comfortable and friendly! I can't say enough about our stay here. This was my second visit and won't be my last! Everyone is helpful, friendly and you can tell they take pride in their rooms!

What a cute , quaint motel in the heart of historic downtown Strasburg. Very reasonably priced. We enjoyed breakfast across the street at Speckled Hen with the free voucher with our stay. Lots to do in this area from antiques, restaurants, breweries, railroad museum etc... Would love to stay again.

This was the most comfortable and charming site we have stayed in in for long time. The location was perfect for a tour of the Amish country, and easy to walk out the door and into historic main street. There were good restaurants right near by, lots of antique stores. I loved being able to park right at the door of our room so I could easily unpack and load the items we had purchased. The rooms were so comfortable, and had everything we needed. Lots of pillow r To chose from, great towels. Also, nice to sit right outside our door and watch the Amish carriages drive by. Would stay here again and again.

Five ladies and I traveled to PA to see a Sight and Sound Production. We stayed at The Carriage House last year and unanimously decided to return. Johnathan was so kind and accommodating last year. This year Tim was running the Inn, and was equally charming and accommodating. Sharon greeted us as we checked in and was very efficient and warm. We discussed some dining possibilities, as it was a Monday and many places are closed then. Our rooms were even nicer than last year--upgraded decor--and were again so clean and nice. The mini fridge is a good thing to have while travelling as well. Because of the way the Inn is situated, it is very quiet. Every once in awhile (if you listen carefully!) you will hear the clip-clop of the horse and buggies! The breakfast at The Speckled Hen is excellent, with good choices and great coffee. Overall, our stay was a BIG TEN! Oh, by the way, while we were at Sight and Sound, I got a text that someone had left a nightgown in one of our rooms!!! Afterward we went back and retrieved MY nightgown!! HA! Thank you, Sharon and Tim, for another great stay at The Carriage House. Looking forward to our return visit!

Fantastic stay. Clean charming room. Quaint historic town. Stayed for a night while in town for Sight & Sound theater. Room included everything you could need. Coupon for free breakfast at Speckled Hen (delicious). Super friendly staff. Highly recommend
