Lovely house and grounds for lodging, nicely maintained, very clean and cozy. Very welcoming, friendly, and helpful hosts. Every convenience was provided for a comfortable stay for the three of us and the breakfast was delicious, substantial. I would highly recommend staying here if you are near the Stirling area.

We stayed at the West Plean House during our final three nights in Scotland while visiting Stirling. Hannah and Nicol were great hosts. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Great breakfasts made to order. Location was great. A short drive to town and the other local sights but away from the crowds and noise of central Stirling. It was also a relatively easy and short drive to the Edinburgh airport on our final morning. Highly recommended.

An amazing B and B! Hannah, Nicol, Finlay and Molly the dog were perfect hosts. Our room could not be faulted, the breakfasts were scrumptious and every restaurant suggestion we were given was fantastic. The grounds were beautiful (especially the daffodils) and the guest lounge was also a lovely place to relax. It was also amazing to have the pleasure of visiting a house so full of my family history! We will be back again

Spent 2 nights at this wonderful location hosted by Hannah, Nicol and Finley. Nothing we could fault. Great room, breakfast and awesome host. Thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking to spend a few quality days in Stirling. Thanks Hannah

Stayed one night after stopping at the Stirling Castle. It’s at the back of a beautiful long drive. Has a beatiful garden It has everything you want in a place to stay Great bed Great sheets Soft and big towels Two nice pillows on each side of the bed Great water pressure in the shower Clean carpets Lots of charging points Great homemade breakfast Nice hosts Can’t think if a bad thing

Stayed here last night and was not disappointed. Hannah was the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble, very friendly and attentive. The homemade shortbread was a lovey gesture on our arrival and the Scottish breakfast was a definite 10/10 along with some delicious homemade porridge. The property is stunning immaculate and beautifully decorated, and has some of the original light switches in the hallway, which I love The grounds well what can I say apart from Wow! 🤩🤩 It was lovely to meet Finlay your little boy and Molly 🐶 Would definitely recommend to family/friends and would return if ever in the area again. Very reasonably priced 😁

What can I say other than excellent. Hannah and Nicol were fantastic hosts. My wife, Maureen and I were going to a 60th celebration in nearby Cowie and were looking for somewhere to stay. We couldn’t have picked a better place. Stunning house in stunning grounds, felt we were living on a country estate. Our room was fantastic’Birch’. Breakfast was awesome, I had homemade porridge followed by a full Scottish breakfast and homemade bread. Maureen had cereal and the full Scottish. Made so welcome and Hannah took such an interest in us, personal touch goes a long way to ensuring our short but most enjoyable stay was superb. We would thoroughly recommend West Plean House and if ever visiting Stirling again I know where we will be staying. Thank you Hannah and Nicol. David and Maureen

Fabulous location, quiet but close enough for visiting Sterling and surrounding area Hannah is an amazing host, and with the help of Nicol, young Findlay and Molly we were made very welcome Rooms are spotless and nicely decorated The choice at breakfast is wide, with special dietary requirements being no trouble Hannah and Nicol were always happy to chat and advise us on good places to visit and eat The lounge area is comfortable and you’re welcome to use this whenever you wish The woodland walks in the grounds are great, with a wide array of wildlife, we saw several birds including wrens, bullfinches, buzzards and several common garden birds plus hares and deer Scotland is a long journey for us but as and when we choose to visit again, West Plean House will be a sure fire choice for us. Can’t recommend highly enough

Beautiful, huge house with very spacious rooms and bathrooms, and a great, comfortable common sitting area. Breakfast was excellent in quality and quantity. Hannah is a superb host and really can't do enough for her guests. The grounds around the house are so expansive, but we were unable to take advantage of rambling around... this time. We would love to return and have a much more relaxed time to spend here.
