La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Stephenville

Amazing place to stay at very clean n friendly place

We have stayed here a few times over the years and always enjoyed our stay. This visit, as usual: the staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. Our room was a suite while our son had a standard which was a bit smaller than the suite. Our suite was not one in the traditional sense being that there was only one room. There was plenty of desk room, floor space, outlets, towels, pillows, etc. We also had a fridge in the room. Overall, I felt safe and pretty comfortable. We also swam in the pool, which is small but good enough on a hot day for a boys' baseball team celebrating a win and ourselves. The hotel sells necessities, snacks, waters, etc., down in the lobby at very reasonable prices. I was surprised to purchase bottled waters for only a dollar! And they also serve a nice breakfast with plenty of seating in the dining room. The hotel is in a good location, on the edge of town. Several eating establishments in close vicinity, even within walking distance. Chicken Express is just over the grass from the parking lot . Definately recommend this hotel. Will likely stay again. My one critique is a usual critique of hotels: the suite could use brighter lighting.

Staff was great but hotel was not clean. I saw a roach on the floor and another scurrying around on top of the bathroom vanity. My AC did not cool well either. My TV remote was not working but staff did fix this quickly and were very nice. I would likely not stay here again due to roaches in the room.

The rooms are spacious and quiet, the bed is very comfortable, and this may be the cleanest hotel I have ever been in. The staff was welcoming and helpful. We spend a weekend in Stephenville a couple of times a year, and usually just get a room at the Hampton. But from now on La Quinta will be my first choice in Stephenville.

This top notch priority is perfectly situated with convenient access to Tartleton University & many places to eat or shop. The GM Joe leads an excellent team that provides clean, safe, quiet and comfortable hospitality. Beautiful decor!
