With its grey-tiled roofs, white walls, and beautifully carved wooden structures, the space carries a quiet sense of history and elegance. The courtyard features water elements, stone paths, and blue and yellow lanterns that create beautiful layers of light and shadow during the day. At night, the soft lighting outlines the architecture and gives the entire space a warm, cinematic atmosphere. The common areas are equally charming, with a stone-built fireplace, vintage furniture, and art pieces thoughtfully placed throughout. The design blends traditional Eastern aesthetics with modern touches, creating a space that feels both timeless and refined. Comfort with thoughtful details Our room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. A stone feature wall behind the bed, paired with soft bedding and warm lighting, created a subtle sense of “wild luxury” while still feeling cosy and relaxed. Opening the window reveals the courtyard view — waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the lanterns glow in the evening adds a special charm to the stay. Warm and attentive service From booking to check-out, the hosts were welcoming and attentive. Upon arrival, they introduced the history of the house and highlighted the design features of the property, and were happy to recommend nearby restaurants and local spots to explore. The afternoon tea was beautifully presented, with fresh fruit and delicate snacks — perfect for enjoying a slow afternoon in the courtyard. Breakfast included some local Bai-style flavours, simple yet delicious, and a lovely way to start the day. A peaceful location near the old town The guesthouse is tucked away in Zhongyin Village at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, about a 15-minute drive from Dali Ancient Town. It offers a quiet retreat away from the crowds while still being conveniently close to the main attractions. Surrounded by village life and forested hills, the air feels fresh and full of the scent of nature. More than just a place to stay, Mutian Time feels like a living piece of art. It brought a sense of calm and poetry to our trip to Dali. truly a bespoke Hotel with the warmest feeling of home and sincerest female staff. Every nooks and corners spelt quite luxury and tasteful finishing. Kind hospitality of the best team in Anyu, the twinkling eyes of Claire if not mistaken her name always in beaming smile and Eveready to serve, KK was equally helpful as well as few others female staff. we truly enjoyed ourselves with the matrons of the house! Not only they were helpful, they knew their competitors well when i enquired their assistance to make reservations for me in Daji and Sisan. These few girls represent Anyu ambassadors, deserve accolades! Anyu a hidden gem, we will be back! Our experiences in Anyu Dali leads us to explore and view Anyu Lijiang where we will stays on our next visit. keep up the good work, Anyu we trust!

Estancia excelente. Personal muy amable y servicial. La habitación estaba muy limpia y con mobiliario moderno. La cama fue realmente cómoda. El hotel está pensado para descansar y desconectar con todas las comodidades posibles. El desayuno bastante completo y el restaurante para comer y cenar bastante bueno. Con la estancia incluyen un aperitivo con frutas y otros alimentos muy ricos y una sopa caliente. Hicimos la sesión de fotos con el fotógrafo del hotel y nos divertimos mucho. Compramos un álbum con las fotos y el servicio fue excelente. Destacar la atención la 小俊 . Fue muy amable y atento. Hizo todo lo posible para que tuviéramos una estancia agradable. Muchas gracias.

I had a wonderful stay at Tinghua Island Resort and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Shuanglang. The location is excellent, situated just off the walking street of Shuanglang, making it very convenient while still feeling peaceful and private. Although the resort is not directly accessible by car, this was not an issue at all as the staff were there to help bring our luggage straight to the room. From the drop-off point, it is only a short and pleasant 5–10 minute walk. The resort itself is quaint, beautifully designed, and feels newly renovated. I really appreciated the thoughtful little amenities provided in the room — these small touches made the stay feel extra special. The room was spotless, very comfortable, and the bed was especially cozy, which made for a great night’s rest. One of the highlights of the stay was the superb view from the 270-degree view room, located right next to the lake. Waking up to such a breathtaking view was truly unforgettable. The service from the caretaker was exceptional — super helpful, friendly, and very responsive on WeChat, which made communication easy and efficient throughout the stay. Another lovely surprise was the generous afternoon tea provided. It came with a wide variety of fruits, desserts, rose tea, and yoghurt — honestly substantial enough to be a meal on its own. They also thoughtfully provided evening desserts, which was another lovely touch. An interesting of the experience was the complimentary photoshoot, complete with dresses for guests to change into. This was such a thoughtful addition and made the stay feel even more special. I’m usually someone who stays in branded hotels for the comfort and reliability, but this resort truly ticks all the boxes for me — comfort, service, location, and experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Shuanglang.

El hotel tiene una ubicación excelente; se puede tomar un taxi fácilmente sin tener que caminar con el equipaje, y además está a la vuelta de la esquina, en la calle Renmin del casco antiguo. El joven personal que nos recibió fue muy amable y nos ayudó con cualquier problema. El café y el té eran ilimitados, y los recuerdos que recibimos al hacer el check-out fueron preciosos. El único inconveniente fue que las instalaciones de la habitación estaban un poco anticuadas y el baño era pequeño.

The highlight of this hotel is the breathtaking view from the room. The hotel ambience feels homey and comfortable. I rarely write reviews for my trips, but this hotel truly won my heart with its welcoming service and friendly receptionists. What surprised me the most was the hotel driver, Mr. Mars, who offered to take us to Dali Railway Station free of charge. As we needed to catch our train, he did his very best to get us there as quickly as possible. What an amazing and unforgettable service! Thank you, Mr. Mars..you truly made our day with your warm and thoughtful service.

This hotel is honestly so photogenic, perfect for Instagram :)) There are flowers everywhere and the whole place has a very calm, chill vibe. Their service was really impressive. They contacted us one day before our stay and even arranged a driver to pick us up from Dali train station, which made everything super easy. The butlers were also very helpful, always quick to respond and attentive to anything we needed. They even gave us a free ride to our next hotel, which was such a nice extra touch. On top of that, they gifted me a cute elephant keychain for good fortune, so thoughtful and memorable. The location is great too, very convenient to get around.

Lamentablemente, teníamos la agenda apretada y no regresamos del casco antiguo de Dali hasta después de las 23:00, perdiéndonos el evento. Las dos recepcionistas nos esperaron para registrarnos e incluso nos ayudaron a subir el equipaje a nuestra habitación en la tercera planta. ¡Un servicio excelente! Lo que es aún más sorprendente es la amplia variedad de bebidas del minibar, que incluyen café, leche Want Want, cola, Sprite y té helado, todo gratis.
