Firstly, I was given a room in an extension block that seemed to have been built recently. It was modern but lacked the charm and character of a true heritage property. The main building, with its fireplace and historic ambience, was nowhere to be found. This was especially disappointing considering the premium price I paid, comparable to what you'd expect from a 5-star hotel. The lack of attention to detail continued throughout my stay. When I checked in on a rainy day, I had to walk to the extension block without an umbrella despite the muddy road. The staff seemed unbothered by this inconvenience. Additionally, the room didn't have slippers, and the floor was cold, with no heating available (although they did provide a basic room heater when requested). To make matters worse, I had to call the front desk to confirm my room for the second day, which should have been done automatically as part of their standard procedure. This lack of efficiency only added to my frustration. The toiletries were also woefully inadequate, with only basic soap and shampoo provided. Power cuts were frequent, and I had to notify the front desk each time, which seemed like a hassle the hotel should have anticipated. The breakfast buffet was uninspiring and lacked flavour. To make matters worse, I had dinner at their restaurant, which was rated top in Ooty, but my experience was average at best. To add insult to injury, they got our order wrong, substituting Nasi Goreng (fried rice) with Mee Goreng (fried noodles). When I brought this to their attention, they made no effort to compensate for the mistake. In conclusion, Hotel King's Cliff fails to live up to its reputation as a heritage property or even a 2-star hotel. The overpricing and lack of attention to detail make it a poor choice for travellers seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Ooty.

The property is good to stay clean and well maintained, but no restaurant except breakfast, city restaurants are too far auto charges 700 rs return for 3.5 km that is too much, zomato and Swiggy is there, less option of restaurant for vegetarians 2 to 3 only,rest all is good no complains, room 101 should have tinted view glass for privacy reasons, that should be taken care off immediately, request to owner to open restaurant as well for guest atleast . staff is very well trained and behaved thanks 👍

I had an amazing experience at Bella Vista Resort! It is one of the most cozy and comfortable resorts I have ever stayed at. The atmosphere is peaceful, the rooms are well-maintained, and the overall ambiance is perfect for relaxation. What truly sets this resort apart is the hospitality. The owner, manager, and caretakers were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. Their friendly and helpful nature made our stay even more enjoyable. From the beautiful surroundings to the excellent service, everything about Bella Vista Resort was perfect. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway! Can't wait to visit again!

Orchid Square has given us lovely memories of Coonoor. It was comfortable, clean and the food was excellent. However it was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff that really helped to make our experience here a very good one. The restaurant staff in particular showed good humour. The hotel helped with transport. The wifi connection was good. It was peaceful and our room was spacious with lots of extras like tea/coffee, shampoo/ hairdryer. The only downside was the distance into town, needing a tut-tut, about 10-15mins travel time. However, we had peace and quiet.

The property was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for a comfortable stay. I stayed for four nights and was even able to work remotely without any issues. I’d definitely come back. Sayan, the property manager, was a wonderful host , helpful and attentive throughout.

We enjoyed our stay, the rooms were large enough. The restaurent , buffet breakfast is good. Need to watchout the hot water timings. overall a nice property.

There were clean towels, bedsheets, soap, hot water etc. 5. Hotel room is little small, ideal for couple but not ideal for two friends. 6. Parking is okay okay type. I

I have found this property in make my trip. Absolutely this property maintain g clean and neat. The staffs also polite and humble. Main thing is car parking is too good and spacious. The view from the rooms also good

It has been a fantabulous stay, the location is perfect for couples moreover the staff behaviours is a must say ..The kind of hospitality they forecasted I must say its one of a kind..Overall Excellent Experience.. Dont think twice.. just go for it..
