I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and truly enjoyed every moment. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, polite, and always ready to help with any questions. Check-in was fast and smooth, which made a great first impression. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was soft, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the room had everything needed for a relaxing stay. I especially liked the modern design and the beautiful atmosphere throughout the hotel. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, and everything always smelled fresh and clean. The hotel location was also very convenient, close to restaurants, shops, and popular places to visit. It was easy to get around and explore the area. The breakfast had many delicious options, and the food quality was much better than expected. I also appreciated how quiet and peaceful the hotel felt, even during busy hours. One of the best parts of my experience was the service. Every staff member was friendly, professional, and attentive. They always greeted guests with a smile and made me feel comfortable and valued throughout my stay. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable place to stay. Thank you for the amazing hospitality and great memories!

El hotel tiene un estilo de diseño único, desde el vestíbulo hasta los pasillos y las habitaciones, tiene un estilo industrial interesante, que es muy singular. Hay muchos lugares para comer cerca del hotel. Hay un puesto de comida no muy lejos. Justo cuando sales, la mayoría los comen los lugareños. Baratos y de buena calidad, hay varios supermercados pequeños y cajeros automáticos en la calle de al lado. El único inconveniente es que la habitación es un poco pequeña, el cuarto de baño también es pequeño, la red inalámbrica es básicamente inutilizable y el desayuno parece rico en variedad pero de sabor normal.

El hotel está situado justo en frente del mercado Blok M, una ubicación ocupada con muchos vehículos aparcados a menudo directamente en frente. La limpieza es bastante aceptable. I really liked this quaint little boutique hotel and its location. I would’ve given it 5 out of 5 had it not been for my extremely poor experience in their restaurant/ bar.  The staff are lazy and inattentive. Constantly on their phones with heads down, more interested in the content on their phones than what they are there for… to work.  The point that really tipped me, was when I ordered a coffee one morning, it was 35k, the next morning I hand the older male there 50k expecting to receive 15k change. After 30 minutes I asked a girl about my change as he had disappeared. She smiled and laughed as I believe her English wasn’t the best and she did not understand. She said she would follow up. After 20 mins I went back to her and made her understand I was not happy at all. A few minutes later she came back to me with 10k. I asked about the other 5k and she chuckled and smiled , still not understanding what I meant.  Upon check out I pointed out my disappointment with reception and asked for management follow up and I am still waiting.  It’s not the 15k or 5k, I could not care less. But when a staff member assumes they can keep the change is dishonest, given how lazy the staff actually were, I was going to give it to him anyway, but do not assume the change is yours to keep.  Whilst I really liked the hotel and the shower was awesome, I am extremely disappointed that management have not taken the time to reach out to me. Don’t get me wrong, this is not about 5k but about the honesty of staff and the integrity of management to follow up on a point of feedback  based upon this I would probably not stay here again, nor make recommendation of the restaurant/bar.

El hotel es sencillo, no está mal para una noche, la cama cómoda, el desayuno bien y lo mejor de todo la zona de arriba de la piscina y restaurante, la verdad que era muy bonito, pero hay tanta contaminación en Yakarta que no se ve ni el sol. Sólo pasamos una noche. Y calidad precio está bien, eso sí hay que coger taxi desde que sales del hotel por qué al no haber ni aceras y con tanto tráfico no se puede caminar hasta el centro q está cerca. Pero al ser tan baratos los taxis o Grab no es problema. Yakarta sólo tiene para ver la mezquita contemporánea q además es gratuita y la zona del monas, nada más, no merece la pena pasar más de un día y mucho es....

Stayed recently at Holiday Inn Express Jakarta Wahid Hasyim and honestly, it’s a very solid stay if you want convenience and a lively Jakarta experience. Location is definitely the biggest win. It’s right near Sarinah and you can easily walk to malls like Grand Indonesia, Plaza Indonesia and Thamrin City. Super convenient for food, shopping and just exploring the city. As a smoker, I was really glad they still have smoking rooms/floors available. That’s honestly getting harder to find nowadays. Breakfast buffet was just okay, not a huge spread, but the food tasted good and was satisfying enough before heading out for the day. Big shoutout as well to the concierge, front desk and restaurant staff. Everyone was accommodating and helpful throughout the stay. Best memory though? Right across the hotel is one of the oldest pubs in Jakarta. Went there at night and had an absolute blast watching live performances of oldies and 90s songs. The atmosphere was amazing and honestly became one of the most memorable parts of the trip. Definitely recommended.

El costo de vida en Indonesia no es realmente alto. Las condiciones generales del hotel donde me alojé eran bastante buenas. Está frente a la mayor ciudad de ferretería de Yakarta. Es un lugar tranquilo en el centro. Junto a él se encuentran el Banco Industrial y Comercial de China y Starbucks. Los grupos de turistas suelen alojarse aquí. Nos reunimos y cantamos en el restaurante del primer piso por la noche, que tiene un buen ambiente 🎤.

Nice room, good breakfast, friendly staff, and a premium location. Overall, it’s good value for money. However, one thing that really needs attention is the inflexibility of the check-in time. It was quite annoying that I had to wait until exactly 2:00 pm to check in. I tried to check in at 1:57 pm, but it was rejected. The check-in queue was very long and moved extremely slowly. The hotel should be a bit more flexible with check-in time, especially considering how slow the system is. It feels strange to have all guests start checking in at the same time when the process is not efficient. Also, the check-out time is 11:30 am instead of the usual 12:00 pm, which is uncommon in Indonesia.
