The hotel is located right in front of the Blok M market area, a busy location with many vehicles often parked directly in front. To access the market, you’ll likely need to maneuver your way through tightly packed cars and motorbikes. Cleanliness is fairly acceptable. However, the toilet in the lobby was out of service during my stay. When I asked, the staff directed me to use the toilets at either the Gramedia Bookstore or Kopi Oey restaurant next door — which was quite inconvenient. The restaurant itself is not part of the main hotel building. Guests have to walk to Kopi Oey for breakfast or other meals. While the semi-open design of the restaurant was initially fine, I had an unpleasant experience when two guests were smoking during breakfast. It really affected my dining experience and left a negative impression. I stayed on the second floor, and unfortunately, both the Wi-Fi and cellular connection were poor. This was especially frustrating as I was traveling for work and needed stable internet for online meetings. The elevator is noticeably slower compared to other Fave hotels I’ve stayed in. There were also some minor disappointments: No tissue was provided in the room. My request for an extra bathmat was denied — something I’ve never experienced at other Fave properties. Lastly, my friend accidentally broke a glass, and we were charged IDR 20,000 for it. While I understand the charge, a little more flexibility or understanding would have been appreciated. Overall, I found the location too hectic, the amenities lacking, and the service not quite up to par. Sadly, I don’t see myself booking this hotel again.

El hotel tiene un estilo de diseño único, desde el vestíbulo hasta los pasillos y las habitaciones, tiene un estilo industrial interesante, que es muy singular. Hay muchos lugares para comer cerca del hotel. Hay un puesto de comida no muy lejos. Justo cuando sales, la mayoría los comen los lugareños. Baratos y de buena calidad, hay varios supermercados pequeños y cajeros automáticos en la calle de al lado. El único inconveniente es que la habitación es un poco pequeña, el cuarto de baño también es pequeño, la red inalámbrica es básicamente inutilizable y el desayuno parece rico en variedad pero de sabor normal.

I really liked this quaint little boutique hotel and its location. I would’ve given it 5 out of 5 had it not been for my extremely poor experience in their restaurant/ bar.  The staff are lazy and inattentive. Constantly on their phones with heads down, more interested in the content on their phones than what they are there for… to work.  The point that really tipped me, was when I ordered a coffee one morning, it was 35k, the next morning I hand the older male there 50k expecting to receive 15k change. After 30 minutes I asked a girl about my change as he had disappeared. She smiled and laughed as I believe her English wasn’t the best and she did not understand. She said she would follow up. After 20 mins I went back to her and made her understand I was not happy at all. A few minutes later she came back to me with 10k. I asked about the other 5k and she chuckled and smiled , still not understanding what I meant.  Upon check out I pointed out my disappointment with reception and asked for management follow up and I am still waiting.  It’s not the 15k or 5k, I could not care less. But when a staff member assumes they can keep the change is dishonest, given how lazy the staff actually were, I was going to give it to him anyway, but do not assume the change is yours to keep.  Whilst I really liked the hotel and the shower was awesome, I am extremely disappointed that management have not taken the time to reach out to me. Don’t get me wrong, this is not about 5k but about the honesty of staff and the integrity of management to follow up on a point of feedback  based upon this I would probably not stay here again, nor make recommendation of the restaurant/bar.

Hace poco nos alojamos en un hotel de Yakarta para una escapada corta. Si bien hubo aspectos agradables, algunos inconvenientes afectaron la experiencia general. Lo positivo: La ubicación es sin duda una gran ventaja. Está convenientemente cerca del centro y de muchos lugares importantes de la ciudad, lo que facilita desplazarse tanto en coche como a pie. La comida fue excelente. Había una impresionante variedad de platos disponibles durante todo el día, desde comida local indonesia hasta platos internacionales reconfortantes. El desayuno, en particular, destacó por su calidad y variedad. El ambiente del área de desayuno también era encantador: luminoso, amplio y relajante. La piscina fue otro punto a destacar: limpia, bien mantenida y perfecta para relajarse por la tarde o al anochecer. Lo negativo: La habitación en sí era simplemente correcta. Tenía un fuerte olor a pintura fresca que se extendía por todo el pasillo y la habitación, lo cual era desagradable y difícil de ignorar. Habíamos solicitado una habitación con vistas con antelación, pero al registrarnos nos informaron de que el hotel estaba completo, así que nos asignaron una habitación sin vistas. Además, el baño tenía un olor desagradable que persistió durante toda nuestra estancia. Por suerte, pudimos mitigarlo manteniendo el extractor encendido la mayor parte del tiempo, pero es algo que el hotel debería solucionar. Conclusión: En general, el hotel tiene mucho potencial gracias a su comida, instalaciones y ubicación. Sin embargo, la comodidad de la habitación y el mantenimiento necesitan mejorar. Con algunos cambios, podría ofrecer una experiencia mucho mejor a los huéspedes.

Walking distance within the Thamrin Station (less than 5 mins), where also walking distance (20 mins walk) to Plaza Indonesia and Grand Indonesia. The breakfast hotel also were very good, usually nasi goreng for hotel is not that good, but for three consecutives days that I stayed, the food is very good esp the nasi goreng! Somemore it is spicy which is preferable to my own liking! Would def stay here again if I ever wanna go Jakarta.

The cleanliness of the room, makes us feel cozy and comfortable. Food also got variety of choices and tasty too. Hotel near to shopping mall and other attraction places. Easy when dealing with frontline staff and room ready within few minutes. Recommended hotel to stay when in Jakarta 👍🏻👍🏻

La ubicación es buena, las instalaciones del hotel son buenas y la limpieza es regular. El desayuno también es excelente. Sin embargo, la actitud del personal es pésima. Nadie saluda a los huéspedes por la mañana, y el champú de la habitación se acabó, así que les pedí que lo devolvieran tres veces, pero no lo trajeron. Les pedí que buscaran algo sencillo en internet, pero fueron muy groseros. La actitud del personal, a quien no le gusta hacer su trabajo, por ejemplo, se resiste a que los huéspedes hagan preguntas, fue repugnante. Si vuelvo a este hotel, será por culpa de este personal.

Nice room, good breakfast, friendly staff, and a premium location. Overall, it’s good value for money. However, one thing that really needs attention is the inflexibility of the check-in time. It was quite annoying that I had to wait until exactly 2:00 pm to check in. I tried to check in at 1:57 pm, but it was rejected. The check-in queue was very long and moved extremely slowly. The hotel should be a bit more flexible with check-in time, especially considering how slow the system is. It feels strange to have all guests start checking in at the same time when the process is not efficient. Also, the check-out time is 11:30 am instead of the usual 12:00 pm, which is uncommon in Indonesia.
