«Insistí en dar esta reseña positiva después de registrarme en el hotel. Aunque sigo viajando y bastante cansado, me siento increíblemente afortunado de haber reservado esta casa de huéspedes en este viaje tan incierto.
La verdad es que no tenía grandes expectativas para una casa de huéspedes; la comodidad era mi principal preocupación. Pero después de registrarme, descubrí que superó con creces mis expectativas. En primer lugar, el hotel estaba muy limpio. «Tuve una estancia corta, relajante y cómoda en 山隅一舍. El personal fue muy amable, atento y atento, ofreciendo té, café y fruta preparada con proactividad. «This hotel is nice and the price is cheap. They helped carry the luggage to the 3rd floor. There is a delicious shaokao at night nearby, like a market, lots of people selling fruits and food. I forgot to return the room key and brought it to Lijiang, Miss Wei gave me a solution to ask the hotel staff in Lijiang to help send the key instead of me having to pay a lot for a new card. Miss Wei was kind enough to help us order food with *******. I was really impressed with Miss Wei who is very friendly and helpful. She deserves five stars. The room is big and there are 2 types of slippers, one for the room and one for the bathroom. This is exactly what I needed because the bathroom floor was cold. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻»

Los dueños fueron increíblemente cálidos y hospitalarios, haciéndome sentir como en casa. Como era mi primera vez en Dali y no conocía la zona, nos ayudaron amablemente a encontrar una maquilladora y una peluquera de confianza. Fueron fantásticas y quedé muy satisfecha con el resultado del maquillaje 👍
El desayuno también estaba incluido en el precio de la habitación; estaba delicioso, casi de calidad de cuatro estrellas, y comí muy a gusto. El personal de la casa de huéspedes fue muy atento, rellenando nuestras botellas de agua con frecuencia para que no tuviéramos que preocuparnos por quedarnos sin agua. ¡Estos detalles tan considerados hicieron que la experiencia fuera aún mejor! 💧

Alojarse en Mogu House, en el casco antiguo de Dali, fue como sentirse como en casa, más que como registrarse en un hotel.
Desde el momento en que llegamos, los dueños nos recibieron con una calidez que hizo que todo fuera fácil y acogedor. Como visitábamos Dali por primera vez, al principio estábamos un poco perdidos, pero amablemente nos ayudaron a contratar a una maquilladora, y resultó ser una grata sorpresa (¡no nos arrepentimos en absoluto!).
Las mañanas comenzaban con un desayuno sencillo pero delicioso, incluido en la estancia, que nos brindaba una agradable sensación de felicidad. Durante toda nuestra estancia, el personal siempre estuvo atento: se aseguraban de que tuviéramos suficiente agua y se ocupaban de pequeños detalles sin que tuviéramos que pedirlos.
No es solo un lugar para alojarse, sino un lugar donde te sientes querido.

Ubicación: El hotel goza de una excelente ubicación en la orilla sur del lago Erhai. Basta con una excursión de un día en coche para explorar la ruta oeste y otro día para explorar la ruta este. Se puede dar de comer a las gaviotas justo abajo y dar un paseo en barco. El transporte es extremadamente práctico. La ubicación del hotel en la orilla sur del lago Erhai, con vistas desde la ventana orientada al norte, crea la ilusión de estar en la orilla del mar, dada la considerable distancia entre las orillas norte y sur.
Instalaciones del hotel: Las instalaciones del hotel son nuevas, limpias y ordenadas. Muchos de los elementos son inteligentes, y la atención al detalle refleja el esmero del dueño del hotel, lo que resulta en una experiencia general muy buena. UUsuario invitado¡Esta es una joya entre las pensiones! Reservamos la habitación Lingxi con vistas al mar de 270 grados. La habitación era espaciosa y tenía un diseño estupendo. Incluso con un tatami extra para nuestro hijo alto, no era nada apretada. La vista era absolutamente impresionante; todos exclamamos ”¡Guau!” en cuanto entramos. Podíamos ver la montaña Cangshan a lo lejos y todo el lago Erhai cerca. Incluso podíamos ver la puesta de sol desde la habitación.
El gatito, Saipan, era tan mimoso y tenía una personalidad maravillosa; ¡nos encantó!
El desayuno, la merienda y el servicio de traslado al aeropuerto fueron excelentes. Las toallas y la ropa de cama estaban limpias, ¡e incluso nos proporcionaron almohadas de espuma viscoelástica! 👍🏻 El personal de la pensión fue cálido y acogedor, como de la familia. ¡Sin duda volveremos la próxima vez!

UUsuario invitadoEl lugar más satisfactorio para alojarse cuando viaja a Yunnan. La casera es una persona muy agradable. Básicamente ella puede resolver cualquier problema que tengas, así que no tendrás que preocuparte por ser estafado. La habitación estaba muy limpia y afuera, a través de la ventana que iba del suelo al techo, se veía el lago Erhai, como si fuera una pintura. Cada mañana, cuando miraba hacia afuera, mi estado de ánimo mejoraba durante todo el día.
Aquí está la imagen original. Soy demasiado perezoso para editarlo. Será más impactante cuando lo veas con tus propios ojos.

Location – unbeatable and worry-free
The location is extremely convenient, right in the heart of Dali Ancient Town. As soon as you step outside, you’re surrounded by beautiful ancient streets and alleys, full of local character. 2-3 mins walk away from the Bars. Attractions, cafes, shops, and amazing food are all within walking distance, which made exploring incredibly easy and stress-free. From check-in to check-out, the entire stay felt completely worry-free.
Service – warm, genuine, and unforgettable
The biggest highlight of this guesthouse is without a doubt the host. The lady boss is unbelievably friendly, considerate, and welcoming. She is super nice, enthusiastic, and very meticulous in everything she does. From contacting me in advance, patiently explaining routes, to sharing travel tips and local suggestions, she made me feel taken care of even before I arrived. Staying here truly felt like coming home rather than staying at a guesthouse.
What made this stay truly special was the personal connection. She even invited me to join a barbecue with her and her friends. We had drinks, chatted late into the night, and shared stories about our cultures, life views, and experiences. Even though I only stayed for two nights, that evening made my time in Dali unforgettable. I felt incredibly lucky to have arrived back just in time for the barbecue.
The Bai Jiu, the Yi Zu-style barbecue pork, and the homemade dumplings she made were all fantastic. The atmosphere was relaxed, warm, and full of laughter. Even small details were fun, like the pot cover shaped like the Rolls-Royce Spirit of Ecstasy, which gave us a good laugh. It was one of those nights you don’t plan for, but it’s the highlight of the trip that you will remember for a long time. 😎
Room & Sleep Quality – quiet, comfortable, and well designed
The room itself was quiet and very comfortable, with good sound insulation and a thoughtful renovation design that blends modern comfort with traditional charm. The bedding was clean and high quality, and the bathroom was spotless and well equipped. I slept extremely well every night. The entire guesthouse is beautifully designed, cozy, and relaxing, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring.
Value – exquisite and worth every penny
This is a highly cost-effective and exquisite accommodation. You can see the attention to detail everywhere, from the design to the service. It perfectly balances the charm of the ancient town with modern convenience. It’s absolutely worth experiencing, and I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next trip.
Final thoughts
I returned home a few days ago, but when I think back on my trip to Yunnan, Dali still stands out as the most chill and relaxing place and Meishan Guesthouse is a big reason why. The friendly host, the warm atmosphere, and the meaningful conversations made this stay truly special.
If I could give 11 stars, I would. Hands down one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Highly, highly recommended. Will definitely be back!!!
