I was there with 13 of my friends. To our surprise, the whole unit is very clean, much higher than our expectation. The beds are clean, the toilets are clean, the karaoke system is very good (according to one of my friends who sings a lot), the TV comes with different channels catering to young and old, the kitchen is in tip top with all the cutlery. Can park 3 cars inside the porch and 1 car outside, suits groups with a few cars. Service from the Management Team is responsive, even when I messaged them in the middle of the night on the day when we were supposed to check in. Location is around 20 minutes drive to Jonker Street or surrounding ”famous” eateries. 5 minutes walk to a nearby Chinese coffee shop selling Chinese food and a Muslim eatery selling Muslim food. Convenient for those who just want to have a simple coffee and food for breakfast. Will definitely book this place again if I were to go to Malacca again with a big group of friends or family. Highly recommended.

The staff were really friendly and nice! I rented a towel when I checked in, and everything went smoothly. There was no AC in the bathroom, but it was okay. Highly recommended for solo travelers!!

Sinceramente, espero poder mantener este hotel. El Hotel Hong es una excelente opción si eres una persona sencilla que valora una estancia corta y sencilla en la zona de Jonkers. Se puede ir andando a la calle Jonkers, lo cual es ideal para alejarte del ruido y descansar bien por la noche, solo si te conformas con paredes finas y sin aislamiento acústico. La habitación es compacta, con capacidad para dos personas, pero perfecta para una sola. El aire acondicionado funciona bien; si no, siempre puedes usar el ventilador de techo. La cama queen es cómoda, las toallas están limpias y la presión del agua es suficiente para quitar el champú de las mujeres con cabello medio o largo, pero no hay secador de pelo. En general, el interior de la habitación y el baño están limpios, pero no tanto las ventanas, que están muy polvorientas, y los inquilinos anteriores violaron claramente la norma de no fumar, ya que se encontraron colillas y ropa interior tiradas en los cristales. Tanto la habitación como el baño tienen buena luz natural y ventilación, pero pueden atraer algunos mosquitos si se dejan abiertos. Los muebles son viejos y desgastados, pero lo suficientemente buenos como para alojarse unos días. Además, el ambientador de la habitación no funcionaba bien. Y las estanterías del baño estaban terriblemente inclinadas; era imposible colocar los artículos de aseo sin que se cayeran. Aunque está ubicado frente a la mezquita, la llamada a la oración no era tan molesta en comparación con las paredes tan finas como el papel. El cabecero de la cama está contra la pared de la habitación contigua, que lamentablemente es el baño, por lo que se oye cada descarga y las tuberías del agua. Lo mejor de todo es que la recepcionista es fantástica, súper servicial, tranquila y amable. ¡Psst!, hay una zona de reunión en el piso de arriba, como una azotea, ideal para una noche tranquila y relajada; así se acaba el bullicio del Jonkers. No esperes un trato VIP, haz que la cama sea más cómoda. Este es un hotel modesto, una estancia con una excelente relación calidad-precio que solo deberían apreciar viajeros con ideas afines.

Overall, the experience was acceptable the ocation was convenient about a 10-15 minute ride to the city centre, which made getting around quite easy. However, there were several issues during our stay Cleanliness: We noticed some smallinsects on the floor. While it didn't significantly affect aur stay, it would be better if the rooms could be more thoroughly checked and cleaned. Customer Service: All communication had to be done online through WhatsApp, as there was no face-to-face front desk service. This was quite unconventional and sometimes made things less convenient when we needed assistance urgently. Room Equipment: One of the air conditioners in our room kept switching on and off by itself and wasn't functioning properly. Even more concerning, the hairdryer had a short circuit, produced a burning smell, and even sparked flames. This was a frightening experience, and although it was eventually replaced, waiting a full day for such a serious issue was very disappointing.

Budget hotel which meet your expectations. Before checking in, please set your expectations. This is not Shangrila or Grand Hyatt level. If your expectation is correct, then money well spent. 2 big queen size bed, decent shower, probably is best value point relative ro other budget hotel in Malacca. Location in Semabok, outskirts from main tourist spot but who cares if you know what you want. Obviously need transport to move around.

El ambiente es muy bueno. Me quedé en la habitación más sencilla, pero tiene instalaciones completas. El baño de agua caliente es fácil de operar y muy cómodo. Vale la pena cobrar el impuesto al patrimonio cultural. La recepción del hotel está a cargo de Corner Coffee, y básicamente hay gente allí. Regresé tarde en la noche y le pregunté al tío cómo abrir la puerta. Respondió todas mis preguntas.

Supongo que tengo la habitación NO BOM. Desde que leí las otras opiniones este hotel tiene la buena habitación. El hotel está muy bien, pero la habitación está muy bien.
