«Is it actually inside a convenience store!? Open the door and you’ll find the facilities (reception, rooms, etc.) on the upper floor (quite unique, isn’t it?). I was worried about noise from outside, but it wasn’t a problem at all (my roommate’s noise was more of an issue, lol). It had the most toilets and showers of any hostel I stayed in during my trip to Taiwan.👍 And then there’s the location. It’s right in front of the train station, just a one-minute walk to the ticket gates. Buses and taxis are easily accessible too. It’s a bit of a distance from the city centre, but there were Youbikes available, so that wasn’t a problem. It was also great that breakfast (bread, coffee and tea) was free. I’ll definitely be staying here again when I visit Tainan.🙏😊»

«因為關子嶺溫泉區內的酒店覺得有點貴，便選擇這間性價比好的旅店，由於是自駕遊所以稍為遠一點溫泉區也冇所謂，純粹過去泡個温泉吃個晚飯便回來睡覺，店主以藝術氣息佈局也很有意思呀，旅店外觀有點像藝術品外型設計，空地有藍球場及草坪，令人心曠神怡，房間非常乾淨衞生，我住在地下房間，早晚都能聽到外面蟲鳥的美麗聲音，令人暫忘鬧市的密集，下次定會繼續光顧，謝謝老闆的熱情款待！»

For guests traveling alone, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.
«The hostel is easy to reach from train and bus station walking around 30 minutes. The front desk staff are very professional and have good online check in form.
The sitting area is quite good and traditional and have a reasonable pantry with free hot drinks and some snacks.
The dorm rooms are of good size with large spacious bed with curtains. The shower and toilets are on different floors and are reasonably clean.
The building looks quite a traditional structure and you need to climb several steps and the staircases are very long and narrow. If you have many luggage and suitcases you will have a good workout in reaching your room.
Overall the place gives a good traditional experience of Tainan and Taiwan and its worth the money charged. The location is the most ideal and you can walk to nearly all important tourist places from here. They also provide their own folded direction map.
This was for me the best professionally managed owner managed hostel I have ever stayed in and you really feel immersed in Tainan staying at this Hostel.»

Vvincentlulu0325No sabíamos que esta casa de huéspedes utilizaba autofacturación, por lo que no teníamos aparcamiento reservado. El registro fue un poco complicado; reservamos una habitación para cuatro personas, pero era una litera, diferente de la habitación compartida que vimos en línea, lo que nos confundió. La habitación solo tenía suficientes comodidades para dos personas (mantas, cubrecolchones y toallas de baño), y pensamos que había un error. Contactamos con el anfitrión, pero no obtuvimos respuesta, lo que afectó nuestros planes. Solo nos atrevimos a salir a cenar después de confirmar con el anfitrión que la habitación estaba en orden y que nos proporcionarían las comodidades. Al regresar, ya tenían suficientes para dos personas. A pesar de algunos pequeños inconvenientes, en general quedamos satisfechos y fue una experiencia nueva. Sin embargo, este tipo de casa de huéspedes podría no ser adecuado para nosotros. Encontrar aparcamiento nos llevó mucho tiempo extra y el aparcamiento nocturno era caro. Sin duda, revisaremos la información de la reserva con más atención la próxima vez.

The location couldn’t be better—right across from Tainan Park, it’s peaceful yet still within walking distance to the train station and local eateries. The atmosphere of the inn feels both cozy and refreshing, surrounded by greenery that makes you forget you’re in the middle of the city.
The room was spotless and thoughtfully designed, with natural light, soft bedding, and just the right touch of simplicity. Every detail showed the owner’s care—from the locally roasted coffee in the common area to the warm welcome when I arrived. I especially loved the small garden space where you can relax with a cup of tea in the afternoon.
What stood out most was the hospitality. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready with local travel tips and food recommendations. Their genuine kindness made me feel like I was visiting an old friend rather than staying at a hotel.
I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Tainan. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates comfort, warmth, and a touch of nature in the heart of the city.

UUsuario invitado神農街の隠れ家的な立地なので辿り着くまでに苦労する事もあるかもしれませんが、いざcheckinしてみると神農街を軸に大概の観光スポットは行きやすいし宿はセンスよく清潔でオーナーの心配りが感じられます。
ただし、この宿に住まう三匹の猫たちを客室に入れないのは困難な規約でした。

Location is hard to beat. I got to try quite a few good eateries just by staying here. And there are street markets of different types within short walking distance.
I was staying in a room on 2nd level and using the shared bathroom, but it looked like i was the the only one using it.
Everything is clean and spotless, as if the place is very new. The hot/cold water dispenser at ground level is very useful. More hooks/hangers in the room for hanging clothes would be nice. The light feature above the bed and the full-length glass windows that allow natural light are very aesthetically pleasing.
What was perhaps unusual and a bit unnerving - a first for me - was that i didn't see ANY person around the whole of my 4-day stay. I arrived late and had to do a self check-in on the first day so that was to be expected, but on subsequent days no staff were at reception, nor did i see any guests (though i could faintly hear them in their rooms on certain days). Is this a low season thing? Having said that, i found the self-check in and check-out is quite convenient and if you have connected with them over Whatsapp, they send clear instructions beforehand. They will also answer any questions over Whataspp, so i guess it's like a virtual receptionist?

The showers were very small as well but the water was hot and had good water pressure. The common area was cosy and offered free water, coffee, tea and cookies. Wifi was fast and reliable.
