The guesthouse owner is very attentive and friendly. They gave you the feelings like you are staying at your own hometown. They are Muslim friendly as they prepared breakfast using seperate utensils and treat you like their own family. There is also Makanan Melayu menu that they prepared for Muslim if you want to eat for dinmer or lunch. The price is affordable. At the guesthouse, there is a poster of snow activities that you can do written in English translation. Just point to what do you want to do and the owner will directly arrange somebody to pick you up and drop off to the guesthouse again once activity is done. I did the ski playground activity and Wu Song Ling , both of the experience is very great. If you travel solo, then this guesthouse is perfect for you as they really caring and attentive to make sure you are safe and comfortable. I also got to eat frozen fruit given by the owner. No need to worry if you cannot speak chinese as the owner is equipped with translation devices. The owner can arrange the bus to come from Harbin City to Snow Valley, and also when you want to go back. The bus drop directly infront of the guesthouse with the owner already waiting to help with your luggage.

I had such a great experience at Mudong Youth Hostel in Harbin! The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything you need. They create such a warm and positive atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away. What I really loved is that it’s also a very good workplace environment. The space is comfortable, well-organized, and perfect if you need to get things done while traveling. It’s quiet enough to focus, yet still has that nice social hostel vibe. Overall, a great place to stay in Harbin — friendly people, good energy, and a productive environment. I would definitely stay here again!

Es un lugar muy agradable para pasar unos días explorando Harbin. Los baños y las duchas están limpios. El personal es muy amable y atento. Si tienes alguna pregunta, siempre puedes preguntarles y contar con ellos. Además, está cerca del centro de la ciudad y hay una estación de metro cerca que te permite llegar al gran Mundo de Hielo (冰雪大世界).

The bosses are very friendly and fetched and send us from the yabulixi train station. Upon arrival to the homestay, lady boss free upgrade to a beautiful bigger room for us! I have been communicating with lady boss via WeChat xyxms999 before arrival and she helped us planned the full 5 days 4 nights itinerary including to horse ride, snow play, ski and xuexiang! They literally drive us around to and fro around by their chauffeur. We ordered TB and they help us pick up our stuff too They serve daily breakfast too The room is very new and is exactly as per the photos and housekeeping is awesome The bosses own a restaurant next door and serve super yummy authentic dong bei food that we had our dinner there every night! And they are so nice to give us a discount of the food… Even though this is a homestay but we feel that the service they offer was far so much better than a hotel. They have their big snow area with their own snow play with snow bike and snow car and snow slide and swing too Also they help us buy discounts tickets to all places of interest as well as loan ski gear at a discounted price too… My girls loved it so much that they wanted to go back again!

I am Malaysian (Malay), travelled with family of 7 adult + 2 kids. Here’s my review: 1) Location: The location is called “Kaili Used Car Market” in Didi app. If you used the description that given in the booking detail by Tripcom, it might be quite confusing to book Didi or to tell the taxi driver the exact location. Hence, “Kaili used car market” is what you can search for in your Didi app. 2) The room: We booked the 3-bed apartment (comfy for 6 pax). The unit is a 2-floor unit, with only 1 bathroom located at the second floor. The first floor has a kitchen with big kitchen cabinet, sofa, a fridge, a square dining table and a double bed at the main hall. The second floor, got one room with a double bed inside and the hall at the second floor also has one doublebed. Heating are okay. Hot shower available. Washing machine available. 3) what you need to know: The area is around 10-15km distance from Central Street (Zhongyang street). The area is a car sale area, but the neighboorhood is full of things that you need. The buiding is a 10-floor apartment building .My mom and sis shop for fresh seafood for cooking and also bought some winter attire just by walking distance. Considering the price and what it offers, I think it is good enough. If you are travelling by Didi as main transport, this place should be fine . The railway station is quite far and you cant stand the cold weather outside for a walk to station. 4) Host: Host were nice. He waited for us until 3am-4am, and greeted us nicely. It just the language barrier truly crucial before check-in as he did not communicated using chat in Tripcom. The tripcom chat only run by AI assistance, and did not have any further details on check-in. The AI assistance keep asked us to call the host number, but the thing is the host cannot communicate in English and to make a call also requires international charge. The phone number provided also cant be found in wechat. Last choice we had was to contact him via SMS (also international charge required). Haha 😅 My suggestion is I hope the host can maintain the communication via Tripcom chat services to ease the checkin process for all international traveller. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the service exceeded my expectations. El hotel presume de una ubicación excelente, habitaciones limpias y ordenadas, y un servicio atento y amable. El agua de la ducha era excelente y muy caliente, y está cerca de todas las atracciones. El precio es razonable, ¡así que lo recomiendo! 👍

El hotel que habíamos reservado originalmente fue cancelado por algunas razones, por lo que temporalmente encontramos este albergue juvenil cerca. Aunque tuvimos que subir nuestro equipaje por las escaleras, la señora del mostrador no sabía si era porque cada uno de nosotros tenía un 28. equipaje de pulgadas o algo más, así que nos dio un check-in. Nos pasaron a una habitación cuádruple y solo estaba en el segundo piso, lo que nos ahorró mucho esfuerzo. Excepto por el terrible olor en el baño, es Definitivamente un buen lugar para quedarse.
