El hotel era adecuado para mí, porque estaba en un presupuesto estrecho. Más positivo que negativo. Los positivos eran el precio, bastante tranquilo, aunque el ambiente industrial se siente. La habitación estaba fechada, algunas mesas estaban desaparecidas, pero en general limpias y adecuadas. Me gustaba la fosa que se actualizaba y serviba café y té y tenía un cómodo array de muebles. El desayuno estaba incluido y eso era pequeño “b” básico. No había más mantequilla que margarina. Las patatas cuadradas fritas estaban fritas en aceite quemado. La aparcamiento estaba incluido y hay un transbordador gratuito. Este lugar está a menos de cinco minutos del aeropuerto. He tratado con Sophia en el escritorio frontal que ella era hermosa. En conclusión, tengo un comentario para la administración allí. Mi piso 300 estaba fumando por cigano en algunas de las habitaciones en la noche del 19 de mayo. Eso me chocó que pude oler fumar en las calles. La administración necesita atenuar esta situación inmediatamente. No hay excusas. ¡Fine los culpables!

This hotel is ideally located just steps from nice cafes and the main downtown district while somehow being separate from any bustle. St. John’s is a very hilly city and this Sheraton is on top of a rise, so heading into the action is a downhill stroll. The rooms are comfortable, though many hotels in Newfoundland only offer rooms with two double beds instead of two queens, including this one, which was the main disappointment. The hotel lives up to Marriott standards, with attentive housekeeping and a great restaurant. Newfie hospitality was on full display, with the staff all being friendly and helpful, especially Ashley at the front desk and Jacquina (not sure if I spelled that right) at the restaurant. This is a good hotel to choose for your stay in St. John’s.

Well located. Upon entering the hotel, the first impression was that cleaning was not one of their top priorities. The hotel lobby windows were dirty, and there was garbage in the stairwells. Get to our room. Nice big rooms. Beds seemed like they were clean. The bathroom vanity wall was full of dry soap/toothpaste splatter. The shower had mold and mildew on the bottom tracks of the sliding doors and also on the grout and caulking. The closet door tracks were also very dirty. There definitely needs to be more effort into cleaning the rooms and the hotel. I would check out a Hilton for a few more bucks.

I was only there for one night, but it was fantastic. My positive experience started before I arrived. I booked a room with breakfast and soon after I received an email from the hotel letting me know that the restaurant would be closed that day (holiday) and gave me alternate places to go nearby. I appreciated this as it was nice to know in advance instead of it being a surprise on arrival. The reception staff was amazing. When I checked in I asked for a late check out and it was granted no problem at all. So appreciated as I had a late flight to catch. When I checked out, I had the same person and they remembered me and were just lovely. My room was great. Everything was automated! A well designed space that felt modern and was comfortable. The parking was easy to use and not crazy expensive for a downtown hotel. The location is perfect if you need to be downtown but easy to get to the highway and out of town too. I will definitely come back!

Our bus group stayed 4 nights at the Delta. My husband was not feeling well and just wanted to eat poached eggs and toast. The kitchen and servers were very accommodating. Peggy and Pauline who worked the breakfast buffet were phenomenal and I really appreciated their kindness. The other hotel staff was good too and despite the illness we had a good stay.

Very loud and uncomfortable room blankets were scratchy and pillows deflate as soon as you lay down. Wifi requires a Hilton account and then payment otherwise bandwidth is capped and only useful for sending emails. When checking out the agent said no preauthorization was found, I was charged when I checked in, so I was charged twice and no one knows where the money is. Credit card company says it’s on hold with Hilton and Hilton says there’s no such charge/hold. So I’m out money until someone figures out where it went.
