St. Ives Holiday Village

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and both times it’s been a pleasure. The site is placed out of the way amongst peaceful and pleasant woodlands, with a swimming pool, outdoor tennis tables, a small park, and a woodland walk. The site is about 5-10 min drive to the beach (depending which one you want to go to) and there’s plenty of beaches in St Ives to walk along (even in windy/wet weather). It’s also only about 35 mins drive to the likes of St Michaels Mount, Minack Theatre, and some other fantastic days out. The first time we stayed in a gold lodge and it was in perfect condition. After staying in many a caravan/lodge, this one blew us away with the amount of storage and space! This time we stayed in the platinum 2-bed lodge with a Hot Tub and what a value for money! We did have a couple of teething issues but every time we spoke to someone they had a maintenance team within 30 mins - stellar service! The lodge was warm, well looked after, the hot tub wasn’t overlooked, and there was beyond enough space and storage for the four of us. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful - you really couldn’t ask for more (especially for what you pay). We’ve already booked again! Highly recommend.

Travelled a long way from Rhyl (North Wales) Currently on day 5 of 7 with my husband and two daughters age 12 and 7 years. We booked a diamond hot tub lodge which is lovely, to a very high standard and was very clean. Check in was easy. We have had squirrels coming to our lodge everyday for monkey nuts. Staff are so friendly and can’t do enough for you. I didn’t get her name but thank you to the lady on reception who helped my sister by moving her family to a lodge closer to the complex due to a family member having walking difficulties. I would like to thank Heather, Kelsi and Dane for giving my girls amazing memories that they will remember for a long time. They have loved the entertainment! I will definitely be returning to St Ives Holiday Village again and I will also be recommending it to family and friends. Thanks again to all staff for giving us an amazing holiday! Where do I start ? Been to this site now for 4 years and I've got to sat Christine, the boss , has started to turn this site around , accommodation is more than adequate, hot tub is very very nice , yes ppl say its a bit out dated in the club but I have to say talking to the boss , things will change for next year , be back next year !!!! Flipping love this site it's so chilled out

After a troubled start - Hot tub not working on arrival and a 2 and a half hour wait for food in the restaurant - We did complain and the staff were very helpful and apologetic and sorted the problems out. We must say that after that we went on to have a fantastic holiday. The park is in a beautiful woodland setting. The Lodges are in fantastic condition. Christina and her staff were really helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We will definitely be booking again for next year.

I booked this place for myself and my felines a week from 17th March. When I got to the park, I got a telephone call from a person who identified themself as the General Manager of the Park. This person would not allow me to check in. This was my second poor experience with a holiday park in Cornwall. I sat outside the shop looking for a new place to stay. This holiday park is on a country road in the middle of nowhere. There are no businesses on the road to ask for help. I would not reccommend this place to anyone without a car. Seeing more would have been nice.

We've just returned from a 3 day stay. We booked a Two Bedroom Silver Bungalow which was surrounded by beautiful trees and felt very secluded. The bungalow was compact but had everything we needed for our stay and was very well presented. My only issue was with the halogen cooker. I'm not used to them so found it hard to control the heat, but that's it really. It was super cosy and the bed was very comfy. The park itself was very clean and tidy and, although there was a C&W festival on, very quiet and peaceful. Some people may find the bedrooms a bit small but we kept our bags etc. in the twin room and slept in the double. We didn't use the restaurant, bar, shop or pool so I can't comment on these. We did go on the lovely woodland walk and enjoyed watching rabbits and squirrels from our floor to ceiling windows. My boyfriend has never stayed on a holiday park before but is a convert now because of our great experience. Thank you John Fowler Holidays for a lovely experience at a very reasonable price.
