Our stay at Pelican Point couldn't have been better. Jerome was an amazing host and very accommodating to our requests. Excellent communication. We stayed in "Heron" which was modern, spacious and very clean. Great value for money. Highly recommend.

Situated within 87 acres of a beautiful natural environment by the shores of Georges Bay, this was a perfect place to relax for two nights and just enjoy the tranquility of the nature surrounding us. If you are a little bit into birds (like we are) you are well catered for, with binoculars and bird identification book provided. There is a bird hide down by the water’s edge, to view the numerous Black swans, White-faced herons and other aquatic birds, White-fronted chats breeding in the heath shrubs and Superb Fairy-wrens in the grasses. Then there are honeyeaters, wattle-birds, etc in the trees and shrubs around the grounds, the occasional raptor overhead, and add the soothing background sounds of frogs and cicadas. Just our idea of bliss! We stayed in Sandpiper apartment, which was modern, spacious,very well furnished and the kitchen well equipped for self catering. The owners live on the property and maintain it well, and are delightful to meet and talk to. We wish our stay at Pelican Point could have been longer.

So close to St Helens. A great place. Clean and tidy. Well maintained with all bases covered. The short walks so enjoyable. What really appealed were the many different varieties of birds everywhere.

After traveling across from Mole Creek, we stopped here to view the Bay of Fires sights before traveling down to Marion Bay. The accommodation here was excellent with a large roomy bedroom, king Bed, great kitchen, large bathroom for just the 2 of us. Room was very clean. View from our wall to ceiling window of the room out across the low level bush (probably saltmarsh) to George river was relaxing and quiet. We had a small pond / lake just outside the room which had some ducks and other water birds enjoying the serenity also.

We were completing a 3-week car trip around Tasmania and this stay was clearly number one! An extraordinarily beautiful peaceful setting overlooking extensive wetlands and across to Georges Bay. There is also a small herd of (sharply horned) cattle - isolated from guests by an electric fence! Several great walks on the property. We stayed in Blue Wren cottage. Just amazing. Spotlessly clean, great views, comfy bed and every conceivable thing had been thought of - even toilet spray, dish drained, brilliant TV wall arm, "on line" filtered drinking water and matched plates and stone cooking pans for the induction cooktop.. All of this kept in top condition by the super friendly and efficient Mandy. This is the only place to stay in St Helens!
