the stay was very good. the location ghat 17 was very close to local market and other eatery food joint. The staff was quite friendly and very helpful. we had a wonderful shikara ride with lots of local shopping

The boathouse is clean, beautifully designed, and offers a peaceful escape from the city's hustle. The views from the deck are stunning, especially during sunrise and sunset. The food served was delicious and homely, and the heater worked well, making the stay comfortable even in cold weather. The staff was kind, welcoming, and always ready to help, which added to the great experience, owner provided us extra discount so thanks for that.

The location of houseboats is simply amazing. It’s serene, calm & bright. Houseboats were well maintained beyond expectations. Well equipped with full of amenities. Interior & furniture was rich that showed heritage of Kashmiri culture. Home cooked delicious food for breakfast & dinner. Overall once in a lifetime experience that will remain with me forever, we clicked great pictures from different angles it's perfect for those who want peaceful stay.

The most beautiful place that i have stayed in my entire Kashmir trip… the interior is vintage…. The place is well maintained..staff is always there to help you out… food was good… heaters worked perfectly… loved this place… i stayed on last day of my trip if I would have come on first day at this I would have definitely cancelled all others places and would have stayed here on my entire trip, quite pocket friendly our stay in the houseboat, thanks to entire sikandra houseboat team.

Beautiful boat - well maintained; Courteous, helpful staff; Rooftop allows for a gorgeous view of the valley; The food was delicious! - both breakfast and dinner, A mesmerising experience altogether . Have boarded with them 4 times now . Incredibly hospitable staff , we spent every moment, also it's the best according to it's pricing.

This is a very premium house boat with all new furnishings and delicious homely meals. They have heated air conditioning and plush interiors. We enjoyed our stay here, Had a great time with my family and friend . Food was brilliant and all the amenities were extremely convenient . Would encourage everyone to stay with them for more than just a day to enjoy the experience in totality .

I booked this houseboat for three nights prior to a longer retreat in Kashmir. I was a bit jet lagged and nervous upon arrival, thinking I was just coming to rest and adjust my body schedule, staff of houseboat were so accommodating and attentive, always making sure I was ok. If you are looking for an authentic experience by a local family, this is a great opportunity.
