We would like to thank the owner Mr. Khursheed and his very hospitable and friendly and generous staff led by Kulsum who left no stone unturned to help us feel at home in this beautiful home stay. The cottage is decorated so tastefully and has exquisiteness in every aspect yet so cosy that it leaves all hotels far behind. On top of that each meal was so thoughtfully and deliciously made by Kulsum and made sure no item was repeated. Mr. Khursheed spent so much time with us and giving us great advice about places to visit, shop and also share history etc. Kulsum and her team were always smiling and always ready to help. Srinagar and entire Kashmir is extremely safe and peaceful and people are so polite and welcoming. Can’t thank the team enough for such a wonderful experience and lasting memories.

The stay was perfect with a complete feel of kashmiri wooden house. The chalet overlooked Dal lake & snow covered mountains which made our morning tea memorable. The cleanliness was maintained. The linens & heated bed helped to keep us warm. The location is away from chaos & still walking distance from Dal lake for a morning or late evening walk! The staff was amazingly welcoming & warm hearted. Their smiling faces always made our day. Aloo paranthas & kahwa were part of our daily breakfast. Special thanks to Kulsum for taking care of us!

Excellent home experience. Very welcoming hospitality. Kulsum, the lead caretaker takes note of every single detail. Warm 2 days spent. The food was excellent. Kulsum made whatever we asked. The garden and the views were brilliant. They also arranged for a pedestal fan. Very homely.

Tree Of Life is a great place to stay in Srinagar. It is near the Dal lake and the surroundings are very calm and peaceful. The cottage and rooms are well-maintained. The staff are courteous and take great care of their guest. Kulsuma, who is the head of staff is very kind and made food for our liking. Khursheed, the owner of the cottage would check in on us regularly and arrange for rental cars to various tourist spots. We look forward to coming here again and highly recommend this place.

Tree of life is a very wonderful place to stay at Srinagar. It is near Dal lake and the surroundings are very calm and peaceful. The cottage and rooms are very well maintained.The staff are very courteous and very professional.Kulsum is very kind and took very good care of us. Looking forward to coming here again. Definitely recommend this place.

Tulip garden is the place we wanted to visit and so we booked this place as it’s a 10 min walk and we could go twice to the garden . Lovely hospitality. The staff kuslum and others were very friendly and served us home cooked food . Culture blend with this home stay is a great concept and I loved it . Looking forward to visiting here again some time.🤗

I have had a fantastic few nights stay at the tree of life. The room was spacious, very clean and felt authentic to Kashmir. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. Always asking if I needed anything and if the room was okay for me. Especially Kulsum - who showed me around where I needed to go. Great location too near the lake dal !

Tree of Life is the perfect srinagar experience. From the decor to the hospitality and location. A huge shout out to Kulsum and her caring towards guests and her assistants Sana and Mujnar. Must not miss Kulsum and her warmth to exp srinagar.

The Tree of life was the best stay we opted for! Kusum and her team take care of each and every little thing of the guests. The delicious home-cooked meals were a highlight of our stay. They cook and provide the food as per guests request. Our hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and made us feel like part of the family. The rooms were cozy, clean, and well-maintained. Overall, Fully recommended guest house.
